Tragedy as four siblings ages two to 11 die hugging each other in house fire while mom was out buying pizza

Four young children died in each other’s arms when their house burned to the ground while their mother ran out to buy pizza.

Victoria Santiago, two, Josué Santiago, four, Yamilet Santiago, eight, and Josira Santiago, 11, were trapped in their home when an electrical fire broke out.

Their mother, Sarai Santiago García, was on her way to pick up the food when the fire broke out, while their father, Eliseo Torres Salce, a truck driver, was out of town.

As plumes of smoke rose from the building, the children began screaming for help, prompting neighbors to call emergency services.

Neighbors tried to make a hole in the wall with hammers and sledgehammers to free them, but the siblings became unresponsive when they were removed from the house.

Paramedics who arrived on the scene were unable to revive the children. It is believed that an electrical short caused the fire.

Officials believe the victims had nowhere to run because the entrances and exits were blocked by furniture.

As soon as the Sarai heard the news of the fire, she rushed back home to learn that her children had died.

Rescuers said one of the siblings with Down syndrome was found in the arms of her siblings.

According to the autopsy reports of all four children, the cause of death was smoke inhalation Mirror.

But the heartbroken mother hit back at critics, releasing a statement saying she “wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone.”

“Anyone can judge my life and say whatever they want, but my babies were all I had in this damn life,” Sarai said.

‘I worked, lived and suffered so that they would lack nothing and unfortunately they are now gone, a pain I would not wish on anyone. And let him who is without sin cast the first stone.”
