PK Kemsley ‘grateful and proud’ to celebrate six months of sobriety amid separation from wife Dorit Kemsley
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Paul “PK” Kemsley reached an unexpected milestone while celebrating Father’s Day on Sunday — six months of sobriety.
“On Father’s Day, staying sober is the greatest gift I can give my five children,” the 56-year-old Englishman announced on Instagram with a screenshot of his Twelve Steps app.
‘I can gratefully and proudly say this weekend that I have been around for six months. Happy Father’s Day to all you amazing dads out there doing your best.”
PK was arrested in 2021 on suspicion of driving under the influence, but the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office dropped the case in 2022 based on “insufficient evidence” – according to TMZ.
Kemsley’s announcement came about a month after he and wife Dorit Kemsley revealed they were splitting, just two months after celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary.

“We have had our share of challenges over the years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two wonderful children together,” the ex-couple wrote in their joint statement.
“To protect our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children, we have made the joint and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while prioritizing our children. We appreciate your love and support as we continue to do the necessary work on this journey.”
PK is also father to three London-based children – daughter Atlanta, daughter Tatum and son Daniel – from his first marriage to Loretta Gold.
In March, Dorit admitted during part two of RHOBH’s thirteenth season reunion that Kemsley’s drinking contributed to an “all-time bad” point in their marriage after filming wrapped and he was living in a hotel.
“PK drank a lot and he’s a drinker,” the Beverly Beach founder recalls.
‘I think it’s hard to have clear conversations when he drinks so much. He stopped drinking. He’s been sober for 49 days. That was a very crucial moment. Things are, knock on wood, as good as they can be.”
