Leaked renders may have given us a full look at the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE
We’ve been hearing rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE for a while now, and new, unofficial renders of the smartphone may have given us our best look yet at the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.
These renders come from a well-known product leaker @OnLeaks And Giznext, and we can view the device from almost any angle. There is also a 360-degree video showing the design of the front and back of the handset.
Good morning #FutureSquad! Finally, here’s your very first look at the #Samsung #GalaxyS24FE (360° video + razor-sharp 5K displays + dimensions)! 😏 On behalf of @GizNext 👉🏻 https://t.co/eZy8FYdRmI pic.twitter.com/ kDeSi1GIxFJune 15, 2024
If you were hoping for major aesthetic changes, you’re probably going to be disappointed: based on these renderings, the Galaxy S24 FE is going to look a lot like the Galaxy S23 FE and even the Samsung Galaxy S24 that launched in January.
This new device, labeled FE or Fan Edition, should be significantly cheaper than the Galaxy S24 flagships. Debuting in October 2023, the Galaxy S23 FE originally retailed for $599.99 / £599 / AU$899.
Specifications are appealing
Along with the leaked images, we also have some specs to talk about here. The Galaxy S24 FE will apparently come with a 6.65-inch display – so slightly larger than the 6.4-inch screen of the Galaxy S23 FE.
On the back, there is expected to be a triple-lens camera module, led by a 50MP primary camera (as was the case with the 2023 model). The phone may be available with up to 12GB of RAM, up from 8GB last time.
The Galaxy S24 FE is said to come with an Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset depending on region, and storage options will be 128GB or 256GB (no change here from the previous model) .
Previous reports suggested we might have to wait until at least October for the phone, but it now looks like the phone could arrive sooner. When it does appear, expect it to look similar to these unofficial renderings.
