Pregnant Kelly Osbourne exhibits her baby bump as she and Jack depart Sharon’s 70th birthday party

Pregnant Kelly Osbourne showed off her growing baby bump as she left her mom Sharon’s Gatsby-themed 70th birthday party at her LA home on Friday night.

The star, 37, stunned onlookers with a purple maxi dress that coordinated with her short locks, while accessorizing with a black headband and pearl necklace.

Moments later, her brother Jack, 36, put on a neat show in a white blazer which he wore over a black shirt and bow tie while carrying his daughter Minnie, four.

The media personality – who also shares daughters Pearl (10) and Andy (7) with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly – completed his ensemble with a pair of black loafers.

Guests and friends, including Carrie Wilson, Johnathan Davis and Terri Seymour, were served dinner while enjoying a live cabaret performance and magic show.

It comes after Kelly, who announced her pregnancy in May, confirmed she is expecting a boy with boyfriend Sid Wilson, 45.

She said Entertainment tonight that her father Ozzy Osbourne, 73, has already let the news slip to all his friends because he is beyond excited.

Kelly said: ‘[Dad]I told everyone before I ever had the chance. But I’ll say, every day he does this song and this little dance about how excited he is.’

She went on to claim that her parents – including former X Factor judge Sharon – supported her “every step” of her pregnancy.

The singer recently revealed that she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes after noticing symptoms of weight gain and swelling in her ankles during her third trimester.

She attributed the worsening of her symptoms to an increased sugar craving. This motivated Kelly to team up with the No Sugar Company and celebrate National Sugar Free Day on October 3.

“At first I thought it was something I did,” Kelly said People. “I got it in my third trimester and basically I thought it was something I did wrong.”

‘I’ve had no appetite this entire pregnancy, except for sugar. The main thing for me that I realized brought me down was sugary drinks and it was juice.”

The Dancing with the Stars vet went on to explain that even though all of her juices were freshly squeezed, it was still too much sugar. Kelly’s symptoms and subsequent diagnosis prompted her to examine her overall diet and eventually decided to eliminate sugar and limit carbohydrates.

These sacrifices were not easy for Osbourne at first. “As soon as I cut the sugar out,” she told People, “I had a headache for a while. I’m not going to lie. It’s a bit of a shock to your system.’

But Kelly credits her dietary changes with eliminating her symptoms and bringing about a host of new benefits.

“I had pregnancy acne,” the former Fashion Police co-host confessed. “I took the sugar out and it was all gone.”

She went on to describe the added benefits of her sugar-free diet, claiming, ‘I haven’t had to wear compression socks since taking the sugar out, which is unreal for a pregnancy. I just have more energy. I sleep better.’

According to the CDCGestational diabetes affects only 2% to 10% of pregnancies and occurs when the body produces a deficiency of insulin during pregnancy. “First of all,” Osbourne said, “gestational diabetes isn’t your fault.”

The mother-to-be wants to advocate for other pregnant women who receive the same diagnosis while also serving as an example for all the good that can come from a sugar-free diet. “I’m not doing it for myself,” she said. “I’m doing it for my baby.”

It’s not the first time Kelly has been open about the details surrounding her pregnancy. She recently appeared on Red Table Talk and candidly explained her decision not to breastfeed after giving birth due to the continued use of drugs.

“I have chosen to continue taking my medication instead of breastfeeding,” the pregnant star confessed. “What kind of mother will I be if I start to deteriorate, if I start to become self-destructive?”

The couple revealed their pregnancy in May after making their relationship official on Instagram in January. “I’m overjoyed to announce that I’m going to be a mom,” she captioned an Instagram image of her ultrasound photo. ‘Saying I’m happy doesn’t quite hold true. I’m ecstatic!’
