Jennifer Lopez ‘demands crew members and limo drivers make NO eye contact with her’ as more details about her behaviour emerge after she was branded a ‘deeply unpleasant person’

Jennifer Lopez is facing increasing claims of ‘diva behavior’ as her career and personal life continue to spiral into turmoil.

The 54-year-old pop star has been dealing with a series of recent setbacks thanks to her recently canceled tour, rumors of marital problems with husband Ben Affleck and claims of “obnoxious” behavior.

Industry insiders claim that Jennifer also has a bizarre “no eye contact rule” when dealing with crew members or hired help.

‘A friend of ours was working backstage at one of her concerts. All employees were given strict instructions: DO IT. DO NOT LOOK. BEE. MRS. LOPEZ. There must be NO. EYE. CONTACT,” one online user claimed.

Another user had a similar story, claiming, “I knew people who worked at Mohegan Sun [a casino in the US] and they were instructed to completely avoid eye contact with J Diva.”

“They still laugh at her to this day because much bigger celebrities have come along who have been much kinder and gentler,” she added.

Another claimed that even limousine drivers have been subjected to the same rule.

“According to my insider friend, her limo drivers were given the same instructions: they couldn’t even look at her in their rearview mirrors,” they claimed.

An American podcaster and TV industry veteran who goes by the stage name LABellatini also shared a story about Jennifer’s so-called ‘no eye contact rule’ in a TikTok video this week.

“I have a friend who was working audio on a JLo project, and she had him thrown out. He stopped the whole production and everything because he looked her in the eye,” she claimed.

“I have 15 more stories like this,” she added.

Several users on X (formerly Twitter) have made similar accusations about Jennifer’s behavior on set.

One claimed they worked at a Californian ski resort where Jennifer was filming a commercial for a car company.

‘We received a message at the resort reception that we were not allowed to make eye contact with her. Can you believe it!!??’ They wrote.

Another person who claimed to have worked with Jennifer also said that crew members were “warned” before the singer arrived that they were not to make eye contact with Jennifer “under any circumstances,” even if they were talking to her.

It comes after US media personality Meghan McCain branded Jennifer a ‘very unpleasant person’ when she interviewed the Let’s Get Loud hitmaker The view in 2019.

Meghan, 39, who hosted the daytime talk show from 2017 to 2021, lambasted the Jenny From the Block singer during a recent episode of her podcast, Citizen McCain.

She said Jennifer needs to ‘humble herself’ and claimed to have had a ‘not so nice’ experience with the hitmaker when she appeared on the series in the past.

Meghan made the shocking claims during a conversation with her guest Carlos King, creator of the Love and Marriage franchise, amid the recent news that Jennifer had canceled her upcoming tour.

‘I actually feel bad now because I’m looking forward to it [there’s] Bullying happens to JLo and I don’t want to add anything to that,” Meghan said.

‘But she’s just a very unpleasant person. She had the largest entourage I’ve ever seen on a celebrity.

‘More than Kim Kardashian, more than the president. And I just don’t really understand why that was necessary.’

When Carlos said he was surprised by her claims because he had good experiences with Jennifer, Meghan insisted, “JLo doesn’t have a reputation as a nice, normal person. I don’t expose [anything].’

Meghan also branded Jennifer’s recent documentary “not good” and said her acting lately “hasn’t been great” — but the TV personality insisted she was “not trying to be dark.”

“She has to humble herself a little bit, because she gets [hate] all over the internet, especially on TikTok,” she continued.

“There are a lot of people, like real people, lower level people who work on shows, service people and waitresses who have really negative stories about her.

“And again, I just know my experience. I was a host on The View and she wasn’t nice. Anyway, you don’t always have to be nice, it was just surprising considering that people like Kim Kardashian couldn’t be more delightful.

‘If you come to a show for a ten-minute segment, fake it until you can last ten minutes.’

In April, Meghan released an episode titled Why is JLo Flopping So Badly?, in which she discussed the star’s career with her co-host Miranda.

She then posted part of their conversation to TikTok, where the video went viral and was viewed more than two million times.

But in the latest episode, Meghan claimed Jennifer ‘had her TikTok taken down’ due to ‘bullying’, but added that it is now available again.

“All I said was that she had a huge entourage and she wasn’t my favorite guest I’ve ever interviewed,” Meghan reflected on the TikTok. “That looks like the direct quote and it was removed due to bullying.”

In the TikTok, Meghan labeled Jennifer a “PR mess” and said she was “in her flop era.”

“She was a guest on The View a lot, not my favorite,” she added. “Let me tell you something: Some of the biggest celebrities I’ve ever met in my life, I mean big celebrities, have one publicist with them.

“Jennifer Lopez has more people traveling with her than the president. Or just as much [as him]. I’m not joking.

“I’m going to get in trouble for this, but my big memory of JLo is that there was this one person whose whole job was to hold up a mirror with a light while they were touching her backstage.

‘I remember thinking, ‘That poor man. What a strange job. He probably went to art school and dreamed of being a musician and now he has JLo’s [mirror]”.’
