Firerose shared a heartfelt post about her past battle with addiction, days after the singer’s husband, Billy Ray Cyrus, filed for divorce.
The Australian musician, 35, posted to Instagram on June 1, marking eight years of sobriety by sharing an uplifting message praising God for helping her stay strong.
‘8 years sober today by the grace of God! Eight years ago, God performed a miracle in my life,” the After The Storm singer began.
“Since then, day by day, I have surrendered my will and my life to Him. He has been loving and faithful in all promises and has never left my side,” she continued, adding, “Only through God’s love and His wonderful grace can I remain sober and share that hope with others who are still suffering from addiction.’
Firerose said she “couldn’t be more incredibly grateful” for the “gift” of sobriety, before sharing an inspiring message for fans who may be facing setbacks in their own lives.

“If you are struggling right now, please know that there is NOTHING He cannot do!! No matter how broken you feel… through faith you can and will be restored,” she wrote.
Her emotional message included a photo of Firerose sitting in her car and looking defiantly into the camera.
She looked typically glamorous in an embroidered black blouse, dreamcatcher-inspired gemstone necklaces and a dramatic makeup look.

Firerose and Billy Ray married last October, but filed for divorce at the end of May, TMZ reports.
She was his third wife – he was married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991 Miley Cyrus‘ mother Tish from 1993-2022.
The divorce case notes that there are no minor children between them.

TMZ has reported that Cyrus claimed that both irreconcilable differences and “inappropriate marital behavior” were the reasons behind their divorce.
Furthermore, Cyrus requests an annulment, because the marriage was entered into fraudulently.
He said their separation date was listed as May 22, 2024 in the divorce papers, which were filed last month.
In court documents obtained by E! Cyrus says he is seeking an annulment because “he consented to a marriage on the basis of fraud by the woman, where, had he known this, he would not have entered into the marriage bond.”
TMZ also reports that it appears Billy wanted Firerose out of their home by May 24.
He is willing to pay as much as $500 per night for her lodging expenses for ten days.
Once the ten day period has expired, he is willing to pay her $5,000 per month to acquire a suitable new home in Tennessee.
Billy is willing to make the payments over the course of 90 days or once their divorce is officially finalized, whichever comes first. Payments must be made on the first of the month.
