WATCH: Grandma gets brutally run out by NFL player during celebrity charity softball game

A grandmother was brutally driven away by an NFL player during a celebrity softball game, despite only needing help to reach first base.

‘Granny Smith’ came to bat to score a run against David Njoku’s team at Saturday’s event in Eastlake, Ohio, at one point making contact on one of her swings, before being helped by her grandson, Ross Smith – a prankster with 4.5 million subscribers on YouTube – to reach first base in time.

Unfortunately for Grandma, Cleveland Browns running back John Kelly Jr. refused. However, to give special passes to his opponents, regardless of their age, because he had the ball in his glove when Grandma was about 13 meters behind the line.

At first, Kelly let Grandma keep running. But then he waited until she was about to reach the base safely before stepping on the bag to get her out.

What makes matters worse is that the first baseman forced Grandma to sweat when he hit her right in the face.

She was helped on her flight to first base by her grandson and prankster Ross Smith, who has 4.5 million followers on YouTube

To make it even funnier, Kelly and Njoku butted heads like they were making it to the finals of the World Series.

To make matters worse, Kelly mercilessly responded to a post with footage of the play on X with: “You gotta be faster than that grandma.”

Other professional athletes, including Travis Kelce and the recovering Nick Chubb, were at the game.

Kelce – a former Cleveland Heights pitcher – took home a trophy by winning the home run derby.

He was back in his hometown as his pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift performed in Scotland over the weekend.
