Too Hot To Handle alum Carly Lawrence divorcing Love Island USA star husband Bennett Sipes after two years of marriage
After just over two years of marriage, reality stars Carly Lawrence and Bennett Sipes are going their separate ways.
TMZ reports that Lawrence, a Too Hot To Handle alum, filed for divorce from Sipes on Monday.
In legal documents, Lawrence indicated their separation date was last Friday, claiming they split due to “irreconcilable differences.”
The exes, who do not share children, will marry in May 2022.
While it is not known whether the estranged couple had signed a prenuptial agreement, Lawrence has asked to halt the court’s ability to award spousal support to either of them.

Lawrence hasn’t featured Sipes prominently on her Instagram grid in a while. However, it is included, tucked away in various carousel posts.
The last time Sipes was given first photo status was in a post uploaded in October 2022.
“Making memms,” Lawrence captioned the post, which began with a moment of them kissing.
Sipes, a Love Island USA alum who posts less frequently on his account, last showed Lawrence on his Instagram in December 2023, when he marked their relationship anniversary.
The post captured their romantic cabin getaway in honor of their two-year anniversary.
‘2 years with my other (better) half. To the most wonderful woman, my best friend, my wife. My life. My little fairy angel girl. I love you so much, Carlz. Me and Luna wouldn’t be us without YOU,” he captioned the post.
‘We stole away to the mountains to celebrate in our favorite place. Thank you for giving us comfy homes to cozy up in and woods for Luna to explore lol @to_dwell_here lots of love and I can’t wait to be back!’ he added.
People previously reported that Lawrence and Sipes tied the knot on May 20, 2022, at the True Love Wedding Chapel in Los Angeles.

The wedding followed a months-long courtship.
“They really love each other,” a source told the site.
“They were originally going to get married in Vegas and the plan was done and at the last minute… [they] changed my mind,” the insider added. “They were there with friends and stuff.”
Lawrence rose to fame on season two of Too Hot To Handle and dated Joey Joy, a contestant on the show.
Sipes also had a romance with a contestant on his own show – he dated Love Island USA alum Leslie Golden.
Sipes was also in the show’s second season.
