The Portuguese national team will head to Germany for the 2024 European Championship after Saturday’s friendly against Croatia. Cristiano Ronaldo and co will set up base in the perfect setting.
The team will be based at the Hotel-Residence Klosterpforte in Marienfeld throughout the tournament.
Marienfeld is a quiet village about an hour’s drive from Dortmund and the hotel is one that is particularly popular with top athletes.
The hotel is located on the edge of the Teutoburg Forest and has the perfect facilities for a team participating in a tournament.
The site features two ‘FIFA standard’ football pitches, as well as a fully equipped gym, indoor spa and swimming pool.

Portugal will arrive in Germany with serious hopes of winning the European Championship, just as they did eight years ago.
