Isla Fisher is house-hunting in London amid Sacha Baron Cohen divorce as exes move from Australia to the UK ‘for the sake of their children’

Actress Isla Fisher – who lived in her native Australia with British husband Sacha Baron Cohen – is house hunting in Hampstead, north London.

Sources told The Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff that she has a budget of £13 million, give or take, and is looking for a forever family home for her and their three children.

The planned move is an indication that the couple’s divorce is being handled with an exemplary lack of hostility.

It is believed that Sacha is in the process of buying her own home in London.

A friend said: ‘It’s all about the kids and what’s best for them; there doesn’t seem to be any drama at all. Judging by the size of the budget, the family will now be based in London. But Isla will continue to hold its place in Australia.”

The couple share daughters Olive, 16, Elula, 13, and son Montgomery, nine.

Isla, 48, is currently in Britain, playing a single friend of the heroine in new film Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy.

(Renee Zellweger reprises her role as the hapless Bridget, this time flirting with a toyboy played by One Day’s Leo Woodall).

Isla and Sacha, 52, announced in April that they had quietly split last year.

The couple first met in 2001 and tied the knot in 2010. They are parents to daughters Olive, 16, and Elula, 13, and son Montgomery, nine.

Insiders claim the marriage has been ‘shaky’ for years, with Sacha reportedly struggling after making the ‘sacrifice’ to move their family to Australia in 2020.

They moved from Los Angeles to Sydney and then to Perth – where Isla’s family live – in September 2021 to escape Sydney’s strict Covid lockdown rules.

It is thought that Sacha will have a home in Los Angeles for work.

The split announcement came shortly after actress Rebel Wilson made claims about Sacha in her memoir, Rebel Rising, which he has denied.

Rebel made headlines after making several claims against her former Grimsby co-star Sacha, accusing him of inappropriate behaviour.

In the book Rebel Rising, the actress wrote that she ‘regrets the day’ she first met the actor, who she had described as her ‘idol’, at a dinner party hosted by Little Britain star Matt Lucas.

A year later, Sacha offered her a role in the 2016 film Grimsby as Dawn, the wife of his character Nobby.

Ahead of the publication of her memoir, Rebel named Sacha as the celebrity responsible for making threats about the book, after which his representatives hit back.

She took to Instagram to confirm the identity, writing: “I will not be silenced by expensive lawyers or PR crisis managers. The ****** I talk about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is: Sacha Baron Cohen.”

In the wake of her statement, Sacha spoke out to TMZ through representatives, saying, “While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence…

‘[With] contemporaneous documents, film footage and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby.’

The book was published in the US last month and included a chapter entitled Sacha Baron Cohen And Other A**holes, in which Rebel makes claims about his alleged behavior during the filming of Grimsby.

However, on the British copies the wording is roughly blacked out due to what Rebel called ‘quirks’ of English law.

Isla has declined to comment on Rebel’s claims against her estranged husband.
