Todd Blanche, a former lawyer for former President Donald Trump, said he lost between seven and eight pounds during the ordeal because he skipped the high-calorie McDonald’s lunches. Appearing on the For the Defense Podcast this week, Blanche was asked by host David Oscar Markus if he gobbled up the McDonald’s that was often brought to the courthouse during lunch.

The lawyer responded that he was trying to stay away from the plethora of unhealthy options.  “Oh, no-no-no,” Blanche said when asked if he ate McDonald's every day.  “For starters, I didn't have lunch one day.  I ate in the morning and in the evening.'

“Because you come home from lunch, and as you know, when you’re on trial, you’re trying to figure out what the hell you’re going to stuff in your belly with the hour you have,” Blanche said. . “And we walked in, and there was an abundance of just food everywhere,” he said.

While the jury deliberated, his son Donald Trump Jr. showed Trump drinking a Diet Coke 20 times, with an open bag of Lay's chips.  In addition, a box of Milk Duds, a Milky Way bar, a box of theater-sized Whoppers and a stack of Starbursts were on the table for the former president.
