Then and now! Salma Hayek, 57, proudly shows off her swimsuit body as she compares it to a 1999 bikini shoot

Salma Hayek proved she’s still got it, twenty years after finding fame in Hollywood.

The 57-year-old silver screen star showed off her beach body over the years with a throwback photo from 1999 compared to a 2020 photo.

Both shots depict Salma’s fit and feminine figure. In the first photo, the Bliss star lies on her side with her head on her hand, revealing her toned stomach.

Salma stunned in a brown bikini with silver hardware and wore her dark brown hair cropped short and behind her ears.

The Fools Rush In actress didn’t wear any jewelry for the shoot, but wore black eye makeup to complete her look.

Salma added a photo with the caption “Almost two decades later,” with an arrow pointing to her next upload in the carousel.

The Golden Globes winner lies on her side just like in 1999, but this time she wears a brown one-piece suit, sunglasses and a cowboy hat.

These days, Salma wears her thick locks long but still rocks a petite bod as she props her head in her hand, reminiscent of her throwback shot.

This time, the star took creative liberty and posed for a second photo, stretched out over the edge of the pool, with her eyes closed and her head in the water.

But Salma couldn’t resist adding some comic relief to her collage, also posting a photo of her photographer, Édgar Ramírez, who copied her pose as she leaned over the edge of the pool.

“#TBT Some poses never get old,” she wrote on Thursday Instagram post. Salma added the Spanish translation: “Algunas poses nunca pasan de moda. H&M campaign 1999, Édgar Ramírez L’OFFICIEL 2020.’

Fans flocked to the comments section to support the Drunk Parents actress.

One user wrote: ‘Salma Hayek should only drink wine because she only gets better with age,’ while another user said: ‘You don’t get older, you just get BEAUTIFUL.’

Rounding out the sweet compliments, one follower said: ‘Timeless beauty!!!! It’s spectacular.’

Just three days earlier, Salma shared another photo of herself with the first children, wearing a stunning butterfly top, which showed off her abs, and a pink, purple and yellow wrap skirt.

Her hair was worn in a bun on top of her head as she stared into the camera.

A green screen of butterflies flew around her before the video cut to Salma holding the winged insects in a garden.

Followers also saw a shot of the Mexican-American actress with fake butterfly tattoos on her body as she posed on a red carpet.

Finally, Salma added a montage of herself from a photo shoot in a beautiful black dress with crystallized butterflies.

“Butterflies forever Mariposas para siempre,” she wrote under the video. ‘Gilles Bensimon for Elle magazine 2000.’

The Eternals star is no stranger to showing off her style, as in April she showed off her tiny waist in a blue and white print bikini while aboard a yacht.

Salma climbed up a ladder on the boat as she tried to protect her face from the splashing water.

“If your family won’t let you wear a bikini in peace,” the Hollywood star said captioned the photo next to the Spanish translation: ‘Cuando tu familia no te deja tomar una selfie en bikini en paz.’

The Like a Boss star went makeup-free as she emerged from the sea.

What keeps Salma in bikini body shape? She thinks it all comes down to mediation.

‘I really believe so. People say it’s practice. I think it’s meditation,” she said Entertainment tonight in September. ‘You have to find your way. For me, working out is hard… It’s really hard to have the discipline to do it. But meditation is a walk in the park, because it is my own form of it.”

Salma added: ‘You are in the moment with yourself, that is already meditation. But I do it every day.’

And for those who might think the actress went under the knife for her glow, Salma has set the record straight.

During an interview at Kelly Ripa’s Let’s talk about the camera podcast Last June, Salma joked: ‘No Botox!’

Instead, she attributes her youthful appearance to her love of “meditation” and “frequency machines.” Salma added, “I know what it is.”

“Because of a lot of things in my body and health issues, I somehow developed this strange meditation that I continue to develop,” she continued. “I can do it for hours because you don’t have time for it, and it’s so much fun.”

Salma explained that she doesn’t follow an exact protocol when meditating: ‘It’s basically feeling the energy. And it moves and dances within you, different feelings and sensations.’

“So I do a lot of the frequency machines and they work better for me than anyone else,” she admitted. “And just the meditation… sometimes when I do it, people tell me when I come out of the room, ‘Oh my God, you look 20 years old again.’

Salma described the types of machines she thinks work best, including radio and microfrequency to keep her skin tight.

The mother of one even noted, “The people who do the machines say the results I get, they don’t get with other people.”
