She joined the Channel Nine team in 2021 and previously worked as a presenter at Channel 10 and Fox Sports, among others.
It is currently unknown whether the couple is having a boy or a girl.
Her brother, former Wests Tigers and Australian center Chris Lawrence, was also delighted at the news he will be an uncle.
Lawrence made his debut for the Wests Tigers in 2006 as a 17-year-old schoolboy, days before his HSC exams, and carved out an impressive career as a strike centre.
He retired in 2020 with six appearances for the Kangaroos to his name.
In November 2022, Emma Lawrence and cameraman Cade Thompson were robbed of $20,000 worth of equipment after their car was broken into during the Rugby League World Cup in England.
The window of their vehicle was smashed by thieves, after which the shocked colleagues reported the incident to the police.
