Trump’s lawyer Todd Blanche reveals he lost eight pounds during hush money trial because he skipped McDonald’s lunches
Todd Blanche, a former lawyer for former President Donald Trump, said he lost between seven and eight pounds during the ordeal because he skipped the high-calorie McDonald’s lunches.
Blanche appeared on the For the Defense Podcast this week and was asked by host David Oscar Markus if he gobbled up the McDonald’s that was often brought to the courthouse during lunch.
The lawyer responded that he was trying to stay away from the plethora of unhealthy options.
“Oh, no-no-no,” Blanche said when asked if he ate McDonald’s every day. “For starters, I didn’t have lunch one day. I ate in the morning and in the evening.’
“Look, President Trump’s team is handling everything. For example, everyone gets food. You know, there’s a lot of food. It’s not always McDonald’s. There’s a… variety. There’s pizza, and there are other non-healthy alternatives to McDonald’s.”

The lawyer said he thought it was “great” that Trump’s people provided the buffet.
“Because you come home from lunch, and as you know, when you’re on trial, you’re trying to figure out what the hell you’re going to stuff in your belly with the hour you have,” Blanche said. .
“And we walked in, and there was an abundance of just food everywhere,” he said.
But Blanche took the opportunity not to surrender, he told the podcaster.
‘I always take trials as an opportunity to lose a few pounds. It’s my own little way to lose weight,” the lawyer said.
“I think during the trial I lost – well, I haven’t weighed myself since the verdict, but – seven or eight pounds,” he revealed.

Trump’s love of junk food – especially McDonald’s – is a well-documented affair.
His favorite meal consists of two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish and a chocolate malted milkshake – according to former assistants Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie in their book: Let Trump be Trump.
Controversial author Michael Wolff wrote in his 2018 book: Fire and fury: inside the Trump White Housethat Trump likes McDonald’s because of an unusual concern.
Trump “had long feared being poisoned, one of the reasons he liked to eat at McDonald’s — no one knew he was coming and the food was prepared safely,” Wolff said.
