Brighton have reportedly considered bringing back Graham Potter for a second spell as the club’s head coach.
The Seagulls are currently looking for a new head coach who parted ways with Roberto De Zerbi last month.
They were interested in Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna but he has signed a new four-year contract at Portman Road.
Now, Brighton are considering re-signing Potter according to The Athletic as they continue to undergo a ‘meticulous’ plan to find De Zerbi’s successor.
Should the move go ahead, it would come full circle for Potter, who helped establish Brighton as a consistent Premier League player during his time at the club.

Potter was particularly successful in his final eighteen months as Brighton boss, overseeing a ninth-place finish in 2021/22 before guiding them to fourth at the start of the 2022/23 season, before moving to mid-season Chelsea left.
However, his time with the Blues proved far less fruitful with the Englishman being sacked as manager of the west London club after just 31 games in the top position.
Potter was unable to achieve the same fame he got at Ostersunds, Swansea and Brighton, and has been waiting for the right opportunity ever since.
The 49-year-old turned down opportunities to become Ajax’s new manager last month as he felt the project at the Dutch club was not right for him.
A return to Brighton could be quick for Potter as they did not have to pay compensation for him.
He still lives with his family in Brighton and is the neighbor of general manager Paul Barber.
Former Nottingham boss Steve Cooper is another manager Brighton are considering.
Cooper, who has been out of work since being sacked by Forest in December, has said he is determined to continue working in the Premier League.
