Cristiano Ronaldo wants to bring in some former Real Madrid teammates to bridge the gap between Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal.

Al-Hilal walked away with the competition this season, leaving Ronaldo in tears after beating Al-Nassr on penalties in Friday’s King Cup of Champions final.

Ronaldo carries a lot of weight at the club and the Spanish outlet Marca report that he is actively trying to encourage them to sign two players.

The first of these is Casemiro, a player with whom the Portuguese won multiple Champions League titles in Madrid before the pair teamed up again at Manchester United.

Casemiro looks set to leave United this summer, with all signs pointing to the midfielder heading to Saudi Arabia.

Marca claim that Ronaldo believes the Brazilian will add the consistency Al-Nassr needs to keep up with Al-Hilal, who did not lose a single match in the 2023/24 season.

According to the report, Ronaldo has also started laying the groundwork for signing a new Madrid legend.

Spanish defender Nacho Fernandez was the man who lifted the trophy at the end of Saturday’s Champions League final and has already informed the club of his intention to leave.

Marca says Ronaldo called the Los Blancos captain in the past week in an attempt to get him to consider a move to Al-Nassr.

Nacho has also been linked with Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami, but Ronaldo is trying to lure him to the Middle East instead of the US.
