A Borussia Dortmund fan left an interviewer in tears during a heartwarming moment ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final.

Dortmund took on Real Madrid at Wembley after a memorable and shocking run to the final, with wins over Atletico Madrid and PSG.

Unfortunately for Edin Terzic’s side, they were beaten 2-0 by Los Blancos that evening as the Spanish giants won Europe’s elite club competition for the 15th time.

However, a moment in the build-up to the showpiece went viral after a Dortmund fan arrived at Wembley without a ticket.

In an interview with TikTok account ‘Robdidtiktok’, the supporter explained his journey to the game.

“I was hoping to get a ticket today, but I couldn’t,” he said, looking devastated.

‘(Dortmund) it is my heart club. For me it is the best club in the world and I have been a fan since my youth. It’s the best club.

‘It’s difficult (that I didn’t get a ticket), but the match starts soon and I hope to see a good match.

“It was everything for me (going into the game).”

The interviewer, clearly moved by the supporter’s sadness and love for his club, then offered him his own ticket for the final.

However, in a remarkable show of loyalty to the five friends he had traveled with, the supporter turned down the opportunity, leaving the interviewer shocked.

“There are six of us,” he explained. “Okay, but my friends, there are six of us, we have all traveled with six people.

‘I appreciate your card, but all or no one. But we are a group, we are friends as long as I can see the game, it’s not fair to my friends. But friendship…’

The interviewer then hugged the supporter, clearly in awe of his loyalty, before they parted ways, with a final reminder that the card would still be there if he changed his mind.

As the camera panned back to the interviewer, he looked like he was on the verge of tears after his emotional interaction with the Dortmund fan.
