Watch as Aaron Rodgers ignores Donald Trump at UFC 302… after Jets QB revealed he nearly ran against former President as RFK’s VP
Aaron Rodgers ignored Donald Trump – who could have been his political opponent – on Saturday night as the former US president attended UFC 302.
Trump, who was convicted Thursday of 34 charges of falsifying corporate records, shook hands with several fans as he walked past Rodgers, and many of them stood up for him.
But the Jets quarterback, who was with former Packers teammate Marcedes Lewis, remained seated as Trump smiled in his direction.
Rodgers, meanwhile, kept a straight face and didn’t appear to make eye contact with Trump.
Late last month, Rodgers revealed how much he was considering being Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate. to become, suggesting that he had rejected RFK and not the other way around.

The New York Times had previously reported that Rodgers was on RFK’s shortlist of running mates, although that position ultimately went to entrepreneur Nicole Shanahan.
‘I love Bobby. We had some really nice conversations,” Rodgers told reporters at the Jets facility.
‘But there were actually two options. It was retire and be his VP or continue playing. And I wanted to keep playing.”
Trump received a huge ovation at the Prudential Center on Saturday evening after his hush money trial.
He walked into the arena around 10pm ET with UFC boss Dana White and was greeted with chants of “USA, USA!”
Trump also received a warm welcome from comedian Theo Von, who shook the president’s hand.
