Bankrupt Rudy Giuliani holds low-key 80th birthday at modestly priced Italian restaurant – and is sent a video message from Trump even though ex-president was staying just a few blocks away

Donald Trump’s former lawyer Rudy Giuliani celebrated his 80th birthday at an Italian restaurant in New York – weeks after being charged on his other birthday.

The former mayor received the notice two weeks ago on his Palm Beach, Florida, celebration by two Arizona Attorney General officials in the case of Arizona’s ‘fake voters’accusing him and others of trying to overturn the law Elections 2020 Results.

But the possible charges didn’t seem to dampen the broke lawyer’s mood as he partied again at New York’s Amata restaurant shortly afterwards.

The East 56th Street restaurant is owned by Giuliani’s former chief of staff at City Hall, Anthony Carbonetti’s brother-in-law.

He was seen getting out of a Dodge Durango with a security detail and entering the restaurant — known for its moderately priced items ranging from $19 Calabrese meatballs to $26 Paccheri Bolognese pasta.

His attorney Barry Kamins stood outside the diner afterward and told the story New York Times: ‘He’s had some big challenges, and I think it’s amazing that, under the pressure he’s been under, he’s been able to keep his sanity through it all.

“I know we’ve tried to get people to stick up for him as character references, and a lot of people have disappointed us and he’s disappointed in them too.”

Arthur Aidala, a lawyer who specializes in representing “tabloid thugs,” also said at the same time: “Anyone who thinks Mr. Giuliani is lacking in legal acumen is sorely mistaken.

‘He’s as sharp as a tack. We also represent Mayor Giuliani in his case in Georgia.”

A video message was also played on a flat screen in which the former mayor was wished a happy birthday by the recently convicted ex-president.

Trump was seen standing with a small crowd behind him as he said, “They heard I wanted to say a little happy birthday greeting to you and they said, ‘Can we stay?’ Because we love Rudy Giuliani!’

“You’re a special guy, and we love you, Rudy. Just keep fighting. There’s no one like you,” he finally said.

The party was attended by his son Andrew; daughter, Caroline; Bernard B. Kerik, a former New York City police commissioner who once pleaded guilty to eight charges; and Rudy Washington, Giuliani’s former deputy mayor.

Former Breitbart News editor Raheem Kassam, New York Post columnist Miranda Devine, Newsmax’s Mandy Del Rio and Jack Thomas Smith were also in attendance.

Giuliani previously filed for bankruptcy and owes two Georgian women a $148 million judgment in a defamation lawsuit.

According to the Times, the former mayor is reportedly relying on a 9/11 charity as one of his latest financial buyouts.

Prosecutors have been trying for weeks to deliver the official charges and tell him to appear in court on May 21.

“The final defendant has just been subpoenaed,” she wrote on X. “@RudyGiuliani no one is above the law.”

It came after guests watched Giuliani tape an hour-long episode of his “America’s Mayor Live” show at the Palm Beach party.

They sang “Happy Birthday” and presented Giuliani with a red, white and blue frosted cake.

“It was a wonderful evening honoring an American hero, Rudy Giuliani,” said Caroline Wren, a top GOP strategist who hosted the birthday party at her home in Palm Beach.
