Rachel Leviss lost 8,000 Instagram followers after sharing festival photos on social media – but is grateful for those who ‘want to see me thrive!’

Rachel Leviss has lost a whopping 8,000 Instagram followers since she shared her 2024 festival content.

The Vanderpump Rules alum, who was part of the “Scandoval” cheating scandal that seemingly saved the reality show from cancellation, seemed to be taking it in stride.

News of the affair Leviss, 29, had with fellow cast member Tom Sandoval, 41, behind the back of his girlfriend Ariana Madix, 38, broke in March 2023.

The news resulted in the show about the staff of a restaurant run by namesake Lisa Vanderpump turning into a ratings gold mine for the series and for Bravo.

“Well I’ve lost 8,000 followers since I posted all my festival photos and videos… oh well,” the former beauty queen posted on Instagram.

‘Thank you to the real people who supported me and want to see me thrive! eel,” she said. Posting one of those festival photos, she added, “Here’s a photo of me and that dandelion I love so much.”

Commenters were quick to share their own theories about why the Rachel Goes Rogue podcast host was less popular than before.

“I don’t think it’s the festival content, I think it’s your inability to take responsibility and continue to be a mean girl/talk about VPR when you said you wouldn’t,” one person suggested.

‘I don’t feel sorry for you, least of all. You have shown what kind of person you are. With friends like you…’ said another.

Luckily for Leviss, some were still on her side.

‘Their loss. God forbid you live a life that has no pleasure in it. Sick to think they would rather see you suffer in a melancholy, depressed state. Plus, they’d tear you apart for that too. You can’t win… live your life,” one fan advised.

“Ignore the haters. You don’t have to be punished forever.’ wrote another follower.

‘You took responsibility. You have taken the steps to make things better. You can be happy and share your truths for as long as you want. And you can change your name whenever and to whatever you want. This is your life. Celebrate the withdrawal and healing. ‍’

Some fans blamed Leviss's loss of popularity on her

Some fans blamed Leviss’s loss of popularity on her “inability to take responsibility,” her role in the affair she had with Tom Sandoval, 41, while she was “best friends” with his now ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix, 38.

Many Leviss fans rallied behind her. 'God forbid you live a life that includes pleasure. Sick to think they would rather see you suffer in a melancholic, depressed state,” one fan wrote. “You can be happy and share your truths as long as you want,” said another

Leviss has sued Sandoval under California’s Revenge Porn law for recording and storing intimate FaceTime interactions.

Madix discovered one of the videos on Sandoval’s phone, which led to the revelation of the affair.

She is also suing Madix for allegedly obtaining two of the videos and distributing or showing them to others without Leviss’ permission.

On May 24, a judge in Los Angeles ruled that Leviss had sufficient evidence to proceed with the lawsuit.
