Netflix fans have hailed a 2023 show as a “masterpiece” as it is revived on the streaming platform following a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Adult sci-fi cartoon Scavengers Reign premiered on HBO Max in October 2023 and was canceled in May after just one series.

Scavengers Reign follows the survivors of the damaged interstellar freighter Demeter 227 who are stranded on Vesta, an alien planet full of flora and fauna, but full of dangers.

In May, Netflix announced that they had acquired the rights to the animation and on May 31, they re-released it.

Netflix will now decide whether to order more episodes of the series depending on the reception.
