John Lennon’s son Sean says Prince Harry is an ‘idiot’ who ‘deserves to be mocked’ in online rant

John Lennon’s son Sean Ono Lennon rails against Prince Harry online, calling him an ‘idiot’ who deserves to be mocked.

Sean, 48, sparked outrage among royal fans when he posted a joke about his book Spare, writing: ‘My long-awaited review of Prince Harry’s autobiography consists of two words. “Spare me.”

While the musician insisted he was just making a pun with the book’s title, he doubled down on his criticism of Harry when he was slammed on X, formerly known as Twitter.

As people pointed out that Sean and Harry have a lot in common, including the fact that both tragically lost famous parents at a young age, Sean recalled meeting Princess Diana’s youngest son.

Sean replied, “Actually, I’m aware of it [that we have things in common]. We met once. That was before I realized he was an idiot.”

The Oscar winner seemed particularly offended because Harry said in his book that he treated his frozen penis – which he called his “toddler” – with his late mother’s favorite lip cream.

“It was a play on words,” Sean said of his first post. “But he deserves to be mocked after that todger episode. He’ll be fine.’

While social media users continued to support Harry and mention the tragedies he has experienced, Sean stood by his decision to mock the royal family.

Sean said of Harry’s past: ‘That’s very sad. I don’t have any of that against him.

‘Also the reason why I am very disappointed with his prospects. I hoped he would be smarter.’

In another response, Sean said: “I generally sympathize with him. But the way he whines and harps on about things is really too much.

‘I’m just having a bit of fun. I think he deserves some ridicule. (I’m sure I have too).”

Sean also responded to a Harry fan who defended him by suggesting Sean was jealous of the prince being a best-selling author.

“I mean, I don’t care, but I did win an Oscar this year, so… I think I’m doing okay,” he said.

The artist seemed to have a good attitude towards Harry’s fans’ reactions, concluding: ‘People are coming after me because I made a joke about the title of Harry’s book.

“It’s pretty amazing.”

In the 39-year-old royal’s front-page headline, he accused his brother Prince William of pushing him into a dog litter box, lining up over his wife Meghan Markle.

It was also claimed that William teased Harry about his panic attacks, King Charles put his own interests ahead of his second son and saw Harry refer to his use of cocaine, marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms and his enjoyment of the TV show Friends.

Harry used the tell-all book to make several claims about his family, including that William called Meghan “difficult,” “rude” and “abrasive,” and that Charles refused to allow Meghan to join Harry in Scotland while the deceased queen lay dying.
