US Women’s Open golfer changes a DIAPER while waiting in huge queue to tee off at notoriously difficult hole

The par-3 12th hole during the opening round of the US Women’s Open proved so difficult that Rachel Rohanna found time to change her daughter’s diapers.

The challenging hole at Lancaster Country Club led to tee waits lasting between 45 and 50 minutes.

While four groups waited for the turn, Rohanna found time to visit her family and help with an accident involving her eight-month-old daughter, Greenlee Kay.

“I was talking to my husband and looked down and happened to see my youngest just going to the bathroom everywhere,” Rohanna said.

“I was like, ‘Ethan!’ So I brought them inside the ropes, and we went to a cordoned off area and switched her. It was a two-man effort to make that happen.”

After helping her daughter, Rohanna continued to par the hole, reaching an average of 3.8 in the opening round. However, Nelly Korda, number 1 in the world, made a 10 on the hole.

Rohanna has LPGA status, but mainly plays on the Epson Tour. Her family exploits didn’t stop her from shooting a 76 in the opening round.

Rohanna is the only player on the field in the Keystone region, living on a cattle ranch in Waynesburg.

After winning her first Epson Tour title in 2015, Rohanna memorably bought a heifer to celebrate the victory.

Rohanna is a mother of two and welcomed her first daughter, Gemelia Grace, on June 12, 2018. The golfer is married to Ethan Virgili, who owns a cattle ranch, ERV Cattle, in Green County, Pennsylvania.
