ADAM COLEMAN reveals why Trump’s guilty verdict will only BOOST his support among black Americans

Joe Biden’s political operatives may be pouring champagne at the White House over Donald Trump’s guilty verdict.

But she should be deeply concerned.

Trump’s historic convictions will only make it more difficult for Team Biden to win over black voters, who are already abandoning the Democratic ticket en masse.

And without the overwhelming support of black America, Biden’s campaign is toast.

Ask any voter – regardless of race – what exactly Trump has been found guilty of, and chances are you’ll get a blank stare.

That’s because no one — let alone a former president — has ever been prosecuted for this alleged crime.

And more than most, Black Americans know when something not legal smells like shit.

The sordid legacy of slavery, the brutality of Jim Crow, the horrors of the Tuskegee experiments, and the gross unfairness of the 1994 federal crime bill that created a mass incarceration crisis have all imbued black culture with a deep skepticism toward the big state .

It has not escaped the attention of the black population – who are imprisoned more heavily in America than any other race – that the American legal system also seems to have it out for Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, Biden wants Black people to believe he is their white savior fighting alleged systematic bias are the legal system seems – in fact – to be part of the problem.

A New York Times/Sienna poll in May found that 23 percent of blacks in the six battleground states crucial to winning the presidency now say they lean toward Trump.

Only 9 percent of Black voters supported Trump in the 2020 election.

Perhaps just as surprising was the scene in the Bronx earlier this month when Trump showed up to campaign in the deep blue district and was greeted by hundreds of supporters.

His message then was, as it has always been: If you love me, I love you. All Americans can board the ‘Trump Train’.

Compare that to Biden’s increasingly desperate efforts to reach the black community, which consists of little more than racial discrimination and fear-mongering.

‘[Trump] is the same man who wanted to tear you apart when you peacefully protested the murder of George Floyd,” he told a crowd at a boarding school for black students aged six and up this week.

He delivered a similar screed earlier this month — perhaps more age-appropriate, but just as cowardly — to Morehouse College graduates:

‘It’s normal to wonder if the democracy you hear about actually works for you. What is democracy when black men are being murdered in the streets? “What is democracy when a trail of broken promises still leaves black communities behind?”

Indeed, Mr. President.

But who exactly is responsible for this illusory ‘democracy’ you describe?

Donald Trump has not spent his life in politics. You did that – and your record is bad.

Black Americans will also not quickly forget that Joe Biden repeatedly lied about his role in the civil rights movement.

“When I joined the civil rights movement… I marched with tens of thousands of others to change attitudes,” Biden said during his 1987 presidential campaign.

Months later, he retracted those claims when he dropped out of the race, admitting that he had plagiarized others’ political speeches and embellished his resume.

‘I was not an activist. I worked at an all-black pool on the east side of Wilmington, Delaware,” Biden admitted. “I wasn’t marching. I wasn’t in Selma, I wasn’t anywhere else.”

Throughout his decades-long career in the Senate, Biden was friends with men who fought against desegregation, such as Dixiecrat Strom Thurmond and former Klansman Senator Robert Byrd.

Kamala Harris called him out for this during the 2020 Democratic primary debate.

‘You also cooperated [former segregationist senators] to oppose busing,” Harris spat at Biden, referring to his opposition to federally mandated busing of minority students to high-performing schools.

Today, Harris stands with Biden as his vice president and joins him in calling Trump the fanatic.

That’s to say nothing of then-Senator Biden’s sponsorship of the infamous 1994 federal croime law, which remains largely responsible for America’s mass incarceration crisis among Black men.

As a former Democrat, I was blind to this reality for decades.

But what finally woke me up to the real Joe Biden was the moment he was confronted by Charlamagne tha God during the 2020 presidential campaign.

“You know what,” he told Charlamagne, “if you’re having trouble figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you’re not black!”

Biden was later forced to walk back that statement, saying, “I was way too arrogant.” But his light-hearted comment is forever etched in my memory.

The truth is that Biden has a long track record of using race as a wedge to divide and manipulate Americans.

As they say, when someone shows you who they are, believe them.

Well, in my opinion, Biden has shown himself to be a condescending racist who only pretends to be a friend of Black Americans when it comes time to vote.

None of this is to say that Trump is blameless. I don’t agree with all his policy positions. And I may not support him anymore in November.

But I know one thing for sure: I won’t pull the lever for Biden.

I guess that means I’m not black.

Right, Joe?
