Trump fires his first warning shots at Biden as he returns to the campaign, right after being found guilty of all 34 charges in the hush money trial… and prepares to speak today at 11 a.m.

Former President Donald Trump returns to the campaign trail after being convicted on all 34 counts of falsifying corporate records, and his campaign is warning President Biden to “stand tight.”

Trump became the first former US president ever convicted of a crime in history. His sentencing is scheduled for July 11.

The ex-president and presumptive Republican presidential nominee will hold a press conference at Trump Tower in Manhattan at 11 a.m. ET.

It is his first occurrence since the New York jury found the presidential candidate guilty.

For seven weeks, Trump was largely held in Manhattan criminal court to stand trial. His campaign events took place mainly on weekends and Wednesdays, when the court was not in session.

But his campaign said that’s all about to change.

“Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrats have locked President Trump in a courtroom for more than eight hours a day for more than six weeks, and he is still winning,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told reporters. Fox News digital.

“Now that he is fully back in the campaign process, Biden and the Democrats better buckle up,” she added.

Despite spending most of his time in court, Trump held a rancorous rally last week in the Bronx, a county where he received less than 16 percent of the vote in 2020.

He also held a rally on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey, earlier this month.

But the president has frequently expressed frustration that the process has kept him off the campaign trail.

On Friday morning, his campaign announced that it had raised a whopping $34.8 million after the verdict was handed down, nearly double the largest day ever recorded for the Trump campaign on the GOP fundraising platform WinRed.

“From just minutes after the mock trial verdict was announced, our digital fundraising system was overwhelmed with support,” Trump campaign senior advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles said in a statement.

They noted that the huge amount of goods arrived despite temporary online delays due to traffic. It even caused the ex-president’s website to temporarily crash.

“Not only was the amount historic, but 29.7% of yesterday’s donors were brand new donors to the WinRed platform,” they said. “President Trump and our campaign are extremely grateful for this outpouring of support from patriots across our country.”

After the verdict was handed down, Trump said the “real verdict” will be on November 5, Election Day.

The New York case was the first to go to trial. Trump faces three other criminal cases with a total of 54 charges against him.

He is accused of mishandling classified documents in the Florida special prosecutor Jack Smith case, after hundreds of documents, including those with classified markings, were removed from his Mar-a-Lago estate after he left office.

He also faces charges in two election interference cases, including one from Washington for attempting to overturn the 2020 election and the Jan. 6, 2021 attack, and another in Georgia for allegations he tried to overturn the state’s 2020 election results to make.

Trial dates for the other cases have not yet been set and his team has managed to delay the start dates.
