The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah’s sentencing postponed in her federal fraud case

Jen Shah will have to wait an extra month to hear her fate after pleading guilty in her federal fraud case.

On Thursday, the judge overseeing the trial approved a request from US attorney Damian Williams and postponed the sentencing of The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City star, according to Page six.

Citing a “planning conflict on the part of several members of the government team” in a letter, the sentencing phase for Shah was moved from Nov. 18, 2022 to Dec. 15, 2022 by Judge Sidney H. Stein.

Shah, 49, faces up to 30 years in prison.

Shah and her assistant Stuart Smith were arrested in March 2021 and soon after pleaded not guilty to one count each of conspiracy to commit telemarketing, conspiracy to commit money laundering and obstruction of official proceedings. E-news.

“We used interstate phones and emails,” the reality star said in the courtroom, as reported by Matthew Russell Lee of Inner City Press. β€œI knew many of the buyers were over 55. I am so sorry.’

In exchange for her admission of guilt, the US attorney agreed to drop the money laundering conspiracy.

Shah has been a cast member of RHOSLC throughout its three-season run that began in November 2020.
