Pete Evans could be on his way to rebranding himself as a social media influencer after leaving his television career behind following a series of controversies.
The former My Kitchen Rules host, 51, modeled a pair of reading glasses from new eyewear brand Panda Eyez NZ on Thursday.
His wife Nicola posted a photo of the celebrity chef turned ‘alternative healthcare’ advocate wearing tortoiseshell glasses.
Evans, who has sparked outrage for promoting crazy health ideas and re-sharing extremist memes, was bathed in golden sunlight in the photo which appeared to be taken at the couple’s Byron Bay estate.
In the caption she wrote “our friends make these!” while tagging the brand and owner.

In May 2020, it was announced that Pete had parted ways with Channel Seven after 10 years as a judge on My Kitchen Rules alongside Manu Feildel and guest judge Colin Fassnidge.

In May 2021, he was fined $80,000 for promoting ‘alternative treatments’ for Covid.
It was his second run-in with authorities after previously being fined $25,000 for trying to sell his ‘BioCharger’ device for $15,000 each on Facebook.
