A bloody feud between the Comanchero and a notorious crime gang is behind a series of violent executions that have rocked Australia, police say.

Police told the Federal Court this week that the bloody dispute between the Ahmads and the biker gang, which left three people dead within a few weeks earlier this year.

The first kill allegedly saw the Comanchero the… brutal murder of underworld figure Mahmoud ‘Brownie’ Ahmad on April 27.

Comanchero’s heavyweight Tarek Zahed and his brother Omar were then gunned down outside an Auburn gym in western Sydney on May 10, “as revenge,” police say.

Ahmad’s cousin Rami Iskander was shot dead four days later outside his home in Belmore.

The public revelation comes after Ahmad’s brother, Youssef, asked to be released from prison.

He has been behind bars since his parole was revoked on August 5 and is expected to serve his sentence until June 2023.

Police allege that Youseff wants to be released from prison so that he can face “retaliation” against those responsible for shooting his brother.

Police documents revealed it was “public knowledge” that Mahmoud Ahmad was in conflict with the Comanchero before his death.

Several underworld figures were extorted by Mahmoud Ahmad and the murdered mobster is said to be behind a series of burglaries targeting their businesses.

Ahmad’s shooting resulted in the Zahed being shot, with Omar dying, although Tarek miraculously survived.

The Zaheds’ ‘retaliation’ is one of several accusations by the police that Youssef was planning after the death of his brother Mahmoud.

Youssef is fighting Attorney General Mark Dreyfus for his freedom, despite detectives claiming they sent him back to prison, in part for his own safety.

A police intelligence report stated that Youseff was “extremely at risk of being murdered.”

However, his legal team disputed the ‘bold claim’ that he was plotting revenge.

They also claimed that he had no affiliation with the Ahmad gang and only had a surname.

“A nonviolent man with no evidence of violence… to stop him now from planning multiple murders – that’s a big leap,” his lawyer said.

Lawyers acting on behalf of the attorney general claim that Youssef has never denied being part of the Ahmad crime network and that his gun conviction meant he “had the means” to retaliate.

He was released on parole in 2021 on serious drug charges and if his appeal fails, he will remain in custody to serve the remainder of that sentence until July 2023.

Meanwhile, Comanchero power broker Tarek was arrested by police in August after his BMW was shot at with plastic bullets in an ambush in broad daylight.

The gang’s sergeant-at-arm was shot at by heavily armed police on New South Head Road in Sydney’s Edgecliff, eastern Sydney, for his alleged role in the 2014 kidnapping and murder of Youssef Assoum.

Exclusive photos obtained by Daily Mail Australia show the injured motorcyclist, 41, sitting on the road next to his damaged BMW hatchback, dazed and with blood dripping down his face as he was approached by police.
