She is a huge country music star who not only sells a lot of records, but also wins awards.

And this sweet lady from Louisiana also had her music on Yellowstone, which led to her landing a small role in the Kevin Costner series.

She is a blonde beauty who often wears cowgirl hats and form-fitting clothes with layers of jewelry and tons of makeup.

But three years ago, she no longer looked like that when she played guitar in Nashville.

This songbird had brown hair with bangs and looked more Lizzie McGuire than Country Diva.

Who is she?

(Hint: It’s not Kelsea Ballerini.)

She is Laine Wilson.

Lainey Denay Wilson, 32, is an American country music singer-songwriter and actress.

Wilson performed from an early age, before heading to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a career as a country artist.

In 2014, she released her first album on Cupit, followed by a second on Lone Chief in 2016.

Her last album was 2022’s Bell Bottom Country.

And she plays singer Abby who falls in love with one of the cowboys from the Kevin Costner series Yellowstone.

Now her journey to the Grand Ole Opry will be documented in the upcoming special Lainey Wilson: Bell Bottom Country.

The singer was featured in a new promotional clip for the project, released on Tuesday, which showed her preparing for her show at the historic venue, which took place last February.

The video starts with the artist talking about how she started getting jitters before the show when she entered the concert hall.

“The number of people who have come here, the number of people who have been on stage, who have been in these green rooms. “I’m nervous right now,” she said.

Wilson then admits that her younger self would probably have been overwhelmed by the emotion of the moment.

“I don’t think I’ll ever come to the Opry to play without those butterflies. Nine-year-old Lainey would be freaking out right now,” she said.

The hitmaker then stated that the prospect of playing the Grand Ole Opry makes me quite emotional. You will see me cry again.’

The trailer ends after Wilson receives some last-second notes from a stagehand and prepares to perform for her fans.

Lainey Wilson: Bell Bottom Country was developed by the ABC News Studios production unit, which was led by broadcaster Robin Roberts.

The television personality released a statement via People to show her enthusiasm about the upcoming project.

“I look forward to telling stories about talented women who are strong and authentic. Lainey is absolutely one of those women, and I can’t wait to share her uplifting story with audiences around the world,” said Roberts.

Wilson then issued a statement of her own, sharing how excited she was about the prospect of sharing her performance with the world.

“It’s such an honor to be a part of this project…I can’t wait for everyone to watch,” she said.

The special will debut just a few days before the singer is officially inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.

The invitation to join the organization was extended to Wilson by Reba McEntire during the Season 25 finale of The Voice, which aired earlier this month.

McEntire told the singer that she “couldn’t be prouder to be the one to help you continue to bridge the gap between our generations” as she asked her to join the Grand Ole Opry.

Lainey Wilson: Bell Bottom Country will debut on Hulu next Wednesday.
