“I sat with him before at lunch and he told stories about his career,” Andrews said.

“And they’re things we’re just dying for. I like the inside information. And you just hear things you always wanted to know.’

“His resume confirms that he is good at everything he does, so why should this be any different,” Thompson added during the conversation.

Brady has previously spoken about what he thinks he can bring to the booth.

“I believe I can bring a pretty unique perspective that I think a lot of people will really enjoy,” he told Front Office Sports in March.

‘It will be very hard work. It will be very nice.

‘It’s always about challenging yourself to grow in different areas. And this is certainly one way I do it.”

Olsen – who won a Sports Emmy Award last week – recently revealed that Brady asked him for advice as he prepared for a career in broadcasting.

While Brady may have taken Olsen’s spot as FOX’s top NFL analyst, the former Panthers star held no grudges and was more than willing to give the seven-time Super Bowl winner his insights.

In an interview with USA Today, Olsen revealed that he had met Brady and reiterated the challenges of being in the broadcast booth.

“I had a chance to talk to Tom a few weeks ago, and he was just getting me thinking about preparation and the industry and what to expect and all that,” Olsen said.

‘So I do not know. Every man has his own journey in sports broadcasting.

‘I think everyone thinks it’s easy. I think everyone thinks you have to go there and call a live football match for three hours, and then get in and out, deal with the flow of the game, the players, the plans, the terminology.”
