One man dead after stabbing at Joy Thai restaurant in Kirwan, North Queensland
A man has been killed in a stabbing at a Thai restaurant in north Queensland.
Emergency services were called to Joy Thai on Thuringowa Drive in Kirwan, east Townsville, about 4.40pm on Monday after reports a man had been stabbed.
Officers found the man with serious injuries and despite attempts to revive him, he later died at the scene.

A man in his 30s has been arrested and is assisting police with a murder investigation.
Police confirmed no one else was injured, despite earlier reports that a woman had also been stabbed.
The investigation is ongoing.
