It is suspected that the speedboat operator will face hefty fines for damages resulting from the incident, which took place in one of the most exclusive locations in the world.
The port of Monte Carlo is often called ‘billionaire’s playground’ because most of the yachts that dock there are owned by multi-billionaires.
Video of the incident has since gone viral, with some speculating that it was the costliest crash to occur at the Monaco Grand Prix.
