Steve Bruce was filmed confronting an enraged West Bromwich Albion fan following their defeat at Preston North End on Wednesday night.
Baggies’ manager, who is under pressure from the club in the championship relegation zone, seemed to disagree with the supporter telling him to ‘get out of our club that got out of hand’.
Bruce, 61, told the fan to act like a “grown-up man” after he “screamed and cried”, while the fan claimed that Bruce’s son, Alex, who is an assistant coach of the first team, pointed his middle finger at raised him from the team bus.

Bruce’s Baggies have only won once in their first 12 Championship matches and are ranked 22nd
The 24-second video clip posted by Andrew Beaven on Twitter shows Bruce walking up to him and asking, “What do you expect him to do when you scream and cry?”
The fan replies, “I’m yelling and roaring mate, this is my club, this is my club.”
Bruce then says, ‘I agree with you, I totally agree with you’, before adding, ‘You’re a grown man’ – a possible implication that he needs to grow up.
The fan responds: ‘Of course I am. So have I done something wrong? I don’t raise my fingers, I don’t curse, there are children around.’
Bruce counters: ‘You were’ [swearing] to start with. Get out of our fucking club that yelled at you.’
Baggies fan Andrew Beaven posted the video and suggested Alex Bruce, son of Steve, held up his middle finger at him
The video is then cut short because the fan seems to be repeating that feeling.
Beaven wrote on Twitter in a post tagging West Brom’s account: ‘Steve Bruce claims I swore at him last night after his son (an employee of yours) gave me and my 13-year-old son the middle finger!
‘I never swore at him, I just told him to get out of my club, and his brat of a son raised his finger at us!!!’
In a follow-up he wrote: ‘Come on Albion!!! Why isn’t he gone yet!!!
“I got the middle finger from his son @AlexBruce84 last night while he was on the team bus while I was standing next to my 13 year old son!!!!

West Brom’s Jed Wallace reacts after Preston took an early lead in Wednesday night’s game
‘Very stylish, just as stylish as your father’s control!!!’
The Baggies lost 1-0 to an early goal by Emil Riis Jakobsen at Deepdale, leaving them third at the bottom of the league table with just one win from their first 12 games this season.
Bruce replaced Valerien Ismael as manager of West Brom in February, with the club ranking seventh but finishing tenth.
The manager is expected to remain in charge for Saturday’s home game with Luton, but his future at the club looks in doubt if the poor results continue.
After Preston’s setback, Bruce was asked about his future and replied, “That’s for other people. My frustration is that we were never able to arrest the slide. If you win one of your first 12, then you have to accept what’s coming.
“Unless I hear something else, I’ll keep going. I still get up in the morning, want to come to work. It burns in me, especially as it is now.’
