Married At First Sight star Sebastian Guilhaus pleads not guilty to drug trafficking

A former Married At First Sight star will appear in court to fight a serious drug trafficking charge.

Sebastian Guilhaus, who starred in the seventh season of the popular Channel 9 dating show, pleaded not guilty in the District Court of South Australia on Friday to trafficking a commercial quantity of a controlled drug.

Guilhaus stood in the dock before Judge Paul Muscat and said “not guilty” in a low voice after the charges were read to him.

The charges stem from a police raid on Guilhaus’ Croydon home in July last year, during which officers reportedly seized around 1kg of meth with a street value of around $90,000.

In the 2020 season, he was listed as a “personal trainer” and his profile described him as “eccentric and goofy.”

“His eccentric, crazy character contrasts with the way he looks – 6ft 4in tall and with an athletic body – and he fears that while women may like his appearance, they may not accept what’s on the inside.” says the profile.

He dated bride Lizzie Sobinoff, but the couple split in 2021.

After his stint at MAFS, Guilhaus turned to OnlyFans content creation.

The gym star declined to comment after leaving court.

The trial will start on October 13, 2025.
