Bukayo Saka MISSES Arsenal’s final game of the season through injury – as Gunners are dealt huge blow for crunch title showdown

Bukayo Saka is out of Arsenal’s final game of the Premier League season due to injury.

The winger was left out of the starting line-up for their crucial title clash against Everton in a major blow for the Gunners.

Saka limped off late in Arsenal’s match against Man United last Sunday after a strong challenge from Sofyan Amrabat saw him tumble down the side of the pitch towards the advertising hoardings.

During his pre-match press conference, Arteta had spoken about Saka’s fitness and had not hinted at any problems.

He had said, “I think he’s doing fine.”

However, speaking to TNT Sports ahead of the match, Arteta revealed it was a separate blow that kept him out of Sunday’s match at the Emirates.

“Unfortunately he suffered a small muscle injury during training and was unable to play,” he explained.

“Luckily we have some great players, Martinelli steps in and we have to win anyway.

‘He has been incredibly consistent all season and he has always been available. He was devastated last night when he got that injury.”
