Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck did not spend Mother’s Day together amid rumors they have been living apart for ‘several weeks’
Jennifer Lopez celebrated Mother’s Day with her children, but without her husband.
A source close to the Grammy winner, 54, said the couple, who appear to be living apart, “didn’t celebrate Mother’s Day together,” according to reports People.
The rift between the two, who first married in Las Vegas in July 2022 and walked down the aisle the following month for a lavish wedding at Affleck’s Georgia estate, appears to have led separate lives.
The change in status was only so noticeable when Lopez returned from New York, where she was working on several projects.
She recently completed filming Kiss of the Spider Woman, attended the premiere of her Netflix film Atlas and co-chaired the Met Gala.

Affleck, who was working on a sequel to his 2016 thriller The Accountant, was absent from the premiere and gala and has since been seen without a wedding ring.
The pair reunited on May 16, when they attended a recital at Fin Affleck’s school. The actor shares Fin, formerly Seraphina, 15, Violet, 18, and Sam, 12, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52.
An eyewitness told DailyMail.com that “Ben didn’t look happy to see JLo when she arrived at a show for one of his children.”
“When he saw her get out of her car, they did not hug or kiss,” the Observer noted of the actor, 51, and his wife, 54, who arrived separately and met in a parking lot.
Despite not making public displays of affection, Jennifer brought Ben’s child a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers to celebrate their appearance.
An insider said Perez Hilton that “nothing would have stopped them from getting together for the kids” and that “the marital drama comes second.”
‘They are a united front. Jen showed up with Emme to support Fin. Emme is super attached to Fin, so it’s only natural that regardless of what she’s going through with Ben, Jen was there,” the source said.
Lopez shares twins Emme and Max, 16, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 55.

Lopez and Affleck tied the knot twice in 2022, first in Las Vegas in July and then in a lavish ceremony at his Georgia estate in August (pictured in Beverly Hills in January)
“Thank you for giving me the privilege and gift of being your mother. The most beautiful blessing of my life,” the Marry Me actress wrote to her children on Mother’s Day, alongside a carousel of photos and videos on social media.
“Lulu and Max, I am here FOREVER to support you, to encourage you, to remind you of your greatness, your goodness and your limitless potential. You. Can. Doing. Whatever,” she told them.
‘You are brilliant and beautiful and worthy of love and all the beautiful things in life. If you ever learn one thing from me, let it be that. I love you forever… And always… And ever….”

The All I Have singer also gave an emotional salute to her own mother, Guadalupe.
‘Happy Mother’s Day to my mom. As the years pass, I realize more and more the sacrifices you have made of yourself and your dreams to give us the opportunity and strength to live for ourselves,” she wrote.
“I appreciate all the songs you sang and the dancing in the living room and all the stories you told that made me hang on every word and then cry with laughter at how you told them. Thank you for the joy you brought to me,” she explained.
“Your resilience and fearlessness lives in my bones and I am forever grateful for the good times, but also for the inevitable hard times. They define our lives and our relationships and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love you just the way you are. Forever, Jennifer.”
