Anya Taylor-Joy puts on a VERY leggy display in a leather miniskirt and a red jacket as she heads to the Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga premiere afterparty with Chris Hemsworth

She narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction as she drove into the capital on Friday.

And Anya Taylor-Joy brushed off her hilarious outfit mistake as she donned a daring black mini dress to attend the premiere of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga with co-star Chris Hemsworth in London on Friday.

The 28-year-old, who graced the red carpet for the film’s premiere earlier in the evening, had an outfit change as she headed to the party.

The actress traded her glamorous red carpet look for a grunge-glam party ensemble.

Anya wore a striking red leather jacket over a minimalist black outfit consisting of a tight top with a high neckline and a black leather skirt that showed off her long legs.

She wore a pair of simple black stiletto Louboutin heels.

Anya kept her hair and makeup the same as the premiere, with a bold red lip, smokey eyes with a cat-eye movement, and her platinum locks in a sleek high ponytail.

As Anya headed to the event’s glitzy dinner at The Nomad Hotel, she lost her footing in the £645 100mm nappa leather pumps.

Anya tried to meet her co-stars for a bite to eat, but as she walked through a food court in central London, the star’s designer heels slipped off her foot.

But her assistants were quick to support the blonde beauty as they helped her quickly get her foot back into the sky-high stilettos.

Chris, 40, also changed into a more casual ensemble for the afterparty.

The Avengers actor wore a light blue silk shirt with dark gray trousers, finished off with a pair of smart black shoes.

Earlier in the day, all eyes were on Anya as she joined her leading man Chris Hemsworth at the UK premiere of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

The actress, who takes over Charlize Theron’s role as the younger Furiosa in the upcoming film, gave a sassy performance in a floral ruffled bodysuit on the red carpet at BFI IMAX Waterloo.

Anya leads the cast in the latest installment of the franchise, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, and has wowed fans with her incredible wardrobe.

Friday was no exception as Anya showed off her incredible figure in the black bodysuit, complete with large white ruffled and off-the-shoulder sleeves.

The Queen’s Gambit star’s bodysuit was paired with sheer black tights and stilettos, as well as a glamorous three-link diamond necklace and matching earrings.

Chris looked dapper as he attended the premiere in a three-piece duck egg blue suit.

The Australian actor paired the vest with an unbuttoned light shirt and teamed the look with statement white Chelsea boots.

It comes after Anya revealed that a 15-minute action scene in her new movie Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga took a whopping 78 days to film.

Anya appeared on The One Show with co-star Chris on Thursday and gave hosts Roman Kemp and Lauren Laverne some insight into what goes into filming such a long scene.

“We filmed it for 78 days, 78 days!” Anya said. ‘Yes. It’s called Stowaway. It was 100 percent the mountain we were all trying to climb.”

Anya went on to say that the scene had its own team due to how huge a task it was, known as a second unit, and was directed by Guy Norton – a stuntman in the first Mad Max.

She continued, “It was wild! It was so much fun but also very interesting because it was all set on the war platform, so I had it mapped out really well in my head, like ‘Okay, I’ve got a month and a half under the oil rig, a month on the side’.

“When I finally reached the cabin next to Tom Burke, he handed me a sandwich and said, ‘Good job, you made it’ and I said, ‘Thanks.’

The duo appeared on the BBC show as they flew from the south of France to Britain, where they attended the Furiosa premiere in Cannes.

Anya looked every bit the leading lady as she walked the red carpet in a stunning strapless Dior gown with a corset-style top and Tiffany diamond jewelry.

She showed off her fashion credentials in the pale gold number that was adorned with crystals and paired with a statement silver chain.

Anya wore her blonde locks in a sleek bob and wore simple stud earrings, while opting for a pop of red lip for a pop of color.

Her leading man Chris soon arrived in a smart white suit and was joined by his glamorous wife Elsa Pataky, 47, who wore a chic black dress.

For Anya, Furiosa in Cannes is a full circle moment. The first time she came to the festival was to receive a Chopard Trophy in 2017 as an emerging actor. This was presented by the original Furiosa, Charlize, star of Fury Road.

Anya and Chris arrived in France earlier this week for the world premiere of their new Mad Max movie. During her stay in Cannes she will stay at the famous Hotel Martinez.

The film – which doesn’t hit theaters until May 23 – is a prequel to the acclaimed 2015 blockbuster Mad Max: Fury Road.
