Next month he will star in the dramatic thriller The Bikeriders.

And Tom Hardy showed off his striking new look in the form of his newly shaved head as he grabbed a quick lunch at Pret A Manger in London on Wednesday.

The actor, 46, showed off his muscular physique as he puffed on a vape while eating his lunch outside the city shop.

Tom looked casual in a tight black T-shirt and green chino trousers as he headed back to London with his takeaway lunch in hand.

The Venom star showed off his tattooed physique during the low-key outing and was no doubt enjoying a break before starting promotional duties for The Bikeriders next month.

It comes after a photographer made bizarre statements about the atmosphere on set in March.

Famed snapper Danny Lyon, 82, has claimed he was told not to watch Tom while visiting the Cincinnati set where the film was filmed.

Bikeriders was inspired by Danny’s eponymous portfolio and he was invited to watch them film the upcoming movie, due out this summer.

The film, which also stars Jodie Comer and Austin Butler, focuses on the lives of the Outlaws MC, a Chicago-based motorcycle gang, and their evolution from a surrogate family to violent organized crime.

In his new memoir, This Is My Life I’m Talking About, Danny talks about his journey to meet the British actor where he worked.

However, he reveals that he never actually met Tom, as he was warned not to look at Tom at all, before being instructed to look from behind a tree.

Danny said: ‘They tried to keep me away but I got there in the end. It’s fucking freezing. I just want to meet Tom Hardy.

“He comes on set and they say, ‘You can’t look at him.’ I said, ‘What do you mean? Why can’t I look at him?’ They say, ‘Oh, he doesn’t like it.’

“So they make me hide behind a tree and all that nonsense.”

The claims come shortly after Patrick Stewart spoke about Tom’s standoffish attitude on set when they worked together at the start of his career.

The actors worked on Star Trek: Nemesis and Patrick claimed he didn’t believe Tom’s career would take off, partly due to his seemingly dismissive nature.

The Jean-Luc Picard actor wrote in his memoir that they never developed a strong relationship during filming.

Ironically, Tom played the villain Shinzon, a clone of Jean-Luc, but that on-screen connection didn’t translate into a behind-the-scenes rapport.

Patrick wrote, “I didn’t have a single exciting scene to play, and the actor who played the film’s villain, Shinzon, was a strange, lonely young man from London. His name was Tom Hardy.”

He claimed that Tom was more interested in spending his free time with his girlfriend rather than building connections with the experienced group of actors in the cast.

Patrick claimed: ‘Tom wouldn’t want to interact with any of us socially. Never said ‘Good morning’, never said ‘Good night’ and spent the hours he wasn’t needed in his caravan with his girlfriend.’

But even though he described his interactions with Tom as cold, he also made sure to make it clear that the Inception actor was never explicitly rude or difficult.

“He wasn’t hostile at all; it was just a challenge to build a bond with him,” he wrote.

In 2022, an insight into the explosive relationship between Tom and Charlize Theron on the set of Mad Max was revealed by the cast and crew.

It was reported that their working relationship evolved to the point where the stars became involved in shouting matches, with Charlize calling Tom a “fucking bastard” after he kept her waiting on set for hours.

The claims were made in the book Blood, Sweat & Chrome: The Wild And True Story Of Mad Max: Fury Road by New York Times columnist Kyle Buchanan.

In an excerpt published by Vanity fairmembers of the production explained how Charlize made sure a female producer was always with her as “protection.”

Tom starred as the title character, who was played by Mel Gibson in the first three films in the series, while Charlize starred as newcomer Imperator Furiosa, a lieutenant of the villain Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) who turned against her leader turns to team. -on with Max.

Natascha Hopkins, a stunt double on Fury Road, talked about how Charlize didn’t want to waste time on set because she was a new mother at the time and was balancing her role with parenthood.

But cameraman Mark Goellnicht recalled how Tom was often late for the start of shooting.

He talked about a day when Charlize arrived on set at 8am sharp and got her makeup and costume ready before getting into the film’s War Rig.

Despite producers making a ‘special request’ for Tom to appear on time, it would still be hours before he arrived.

“It’s nine o’clock, but still no Tom,” Goellnicht said. “Charlize, do you want to get out of the War Rig and walk around, or do you want to…” . .’

“No, I’m staying here.” She was really going to make a point. She didn’t go to the toilet, didn’t do anything. She was just in the War Machine.’

Tom finally arrived after 11am, while Theron had remained in the vehicle the entire time.
