Carpenter said, “Oh, thanks Bowen,” but when Bowen started singing the song, it clearly wasn’t the same song.

“Yeah, it’s like, ‘Summer’s coming, everyone’s wearing board shorts,'” as Carpenter tries to interject, “Oh, that’s not my song, I don’t think.”

Gyllenhaal adds, “I’m sure, it’s like, ‘Summer, board shorts hanging on the boardwalk with all my friends and stuff.’

Carpenter adds, “Wait, that’s actually really good, guys,” as both Gyllenhaal and Yang sing together, “Board shorts summer!”

In the second preview, Bowen tells Gyllenhaal that his body in his Road House remake was “incredible.”

Yang added, “You actually inspired my fitness journey,” as a touched Gyllenhaal thanked Yang, though he revealed what his “journey” was about.

‘Yes, it inspired me to stay skinny fat. I’m not doing any of that, dumbass,” Yang said, as Carpenter added, “No, you look so good Bowen,” as Yang thanked her.

In the latest promo, Gyllenhaal asked Carpenter where her last name came from, with the singer replying, “It came out of the woodwork,” as Gyllenhaal and Yang both laugh.

The sequel was announced at Amazon’s first-ever presentation in New York by Amazon MGM Studio chief Jennifer Salke.

“As we saw this spring, the world went crazy for a movie called Road House,” she said during the presentation.

‘Nearly 80 million viewers worldwide watched Road House. We are happy to see these results as a baby,” she added.
