Dramatic moment ‘drug dealer, 26,’ falls more than 40 feet after climbing building in desperate escape from cops
This is the shocking moment an alleged street-level drug dealer jumped from an apartment building as he tried to flee from police in northern Brazil.
The failed escape took place on Sunday evening when Espirito Santo military police launched an operation to arrest local drug dealers after arresting a teenager for intending to sell narcotics in the municipality of Marechal Floriano.
Police arrested a 17-year-old boy with cocaine as he was on his way to the building to make the sale to a 31-year-old man.
The officers were then distracted by noise coming from an apartment building, and when they arrived at a third-floor window, they saw two men trying to flee.

One of the suspects jumped out, landed on the rear view window of the police SUV and took off.
However, things did not go so well with his accomplice, a 26-year-old man; A smartphone video shows him trying to climb down and then losing his balance before hitting his head on the window.
The suspect, whose name was withheld by the Military Police, was rushed to Dr. Arthur Gerhardt Hospital, where he was treated for trauma.
He was later transferred to São Lucas Hospital and placed under police supervision.
The suspect narrowly avoided death when he ended up on top of the police vehicle after sliding down the side of a building he tried to climb down in a failed attempt to escape police. The man is currently in hospital and under police supervision

A search led to the seizure of 295 crack bricks, 45 packets of cocaine, 10 grams of crack and 189 grams of cocaine paste. Police also recovered $116.
Despite arresting the man who allegedly met the teen to buy the drugs, police decided to release him because they did not have enough evidence to charge him with making a purchase.
The teenager signed a logbook in which he admitted to being involved in drug trafficking and was released to his family.
