Olivia Rodrigo has added new dates to her 2024 Guts Australian tour amid skyrocketing demand for tickets.
The pop star, 21, will tour Sydney and Melbourne in October, and was originally scheduled to take the stage at just four shows in the two cities.
However, Olivia has now added four extra dates to her tour schedule Down Under after pre-sales sold out within hours on Wednesday.
She originally announced she would be performing at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on October 9 and 10, but has now added October 13 and 14.
Olivia will also take the stage at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on October 21 and 22, as well as the originally scheduled shows on October 17 and 18.

Pre-sale tickets for the highly anticipated shows were made available through Ticketek via Live Nation, ahead of Thursday’s general sale at 1pm AEST.

Fans claimed they were repeatedly experiencing “access denied” errors when purchasing tickets, despite separate attempts on different browsers and devices.
They compared it to the difficulties fans faced trying to get tickets for Taylor Swift’s hugely popular Eras tour Down Under, as they shared their anger.

Ticketek took to social media to offer advice to fans struggling to get tickets, providing them with a list of steps to follow.

‘Please note that you will only use one Ticketek browser when purchasing tickets. If you still see this message, clear your browser’s cache, try a different browser and make sure you are not using a VPN,” they wrote.
‘Make sure you access the Olivia Rodrigo Live Nation presale via the Live Nation website. When the presale starts, log in to your account and click BUY TICKETS. No presale code required.’
Despite some fans sharing their disappointment, many happy social media users expressed their joy after managing to get tickets in advance.
They shouted: ‘I GOT OLIVIA RODRIGO TICKETS’; ‘Not only am I going to buy Olivia Rodrigo… I also have ROW C TICKETS’;

Eager fans will have another chance to grab tickets during Thursday’s general sale, which starts at 1pm AEST, with prices ranging from around $75 to $300.

Due to the very high demand for the shows, fans could only purchase four tickets each.
Tickets to her show are believed to range in price from approximately $75 to $300, depending on seating and packaging options.
VIP packages and experiences are available for fans who want to take their concert experience to the next level.
The Guts tour supports Rodrigo’s second critically acclaimed studio album Guts, which earned her six Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
The more expensive GA Pit Experience tickets offer early access to the venue, a photo opportunity in front of the VIP backdrop, and pre-show merchandise purchase for the general public.
A limited number of $20 Silver Star tickets have also been made available, with Olivia saying she wanted to make it as affordable as possible for her fans.
Olivia will be joined on the Australian leg by talented New Zealand singer-songwriter Benee, who will open all four shows.
The tour supports Rodrigo’s second critically acclaimed studio album Guts, which earned her six Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
