NFL’s 2024 International Games REVEALED: New York Jets and New England Patriots return to London… plus another HUGE game in Munich
The NFL has announced a mouthwatering five-game schedule for the 2024 International Games, with London, Munich and Sao Paulo set to play host to some of the league’s best talent.
A Week 1 matchup in Brazil’s capital between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles had already been announced, but now the games in Great Britain and Germany have also been made public as preparations for the 2024 season continue.
The announcement revealed that the New York Jets will head back to London in early October for a big regular season game where they will take on the Minnesota Vikings.
The Oct. 6 game marks the second time the Jets have crossed the Atlantic in three years, but it will be the first time quarterback Aaron Rodgers is in Britain with his new team.
A week later, the Chicago Bears play in the same stadium against the Jacksonville Jaguars – who play their twelfth and thirteenth games in the English capital this year.
A week later, the Jags return to Wembley Stadium, and their opponents on October 20 are the New England Patriots, who begin their new era without Bill Belichick.
On November 10, attention turns to Munich and the Allianz Arena, where the Carolina Panthers and the New York Giants face each other.
“We are excited to announce these exciting matchups in London and Munich, in addition to the historic first match in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to complete the 2024 International Games slate,” NFL Executive Vice President, Club Business, Major Events & International Peter O’ said Reilly.
“As the league and its 32 teams continue to prioritize international growth, we look forward to building on the incredible fan experiences in Europe as we bring the game to new fans in South America.”
The full NFL schedule will be released tonight at 8:00 PM ET, with fans eagerly awaiting news on where their team will play in 2024 and 2025.
The league and its networks have provided information in recent days, with the Kansas City Chiefs confirming they will open the new season with a home game against the Baltimore Ravens.
