Mark Zuckerberg has celebrated his 40th birthday with recreations of places he lived when he was younger.
The Facebook founder shared rare photos of his family and friends at the party on Instagram, saying his wife Priscilla Chan “recreated some of the places I used to live.”
In one photo, he sat next to Bill Gates in a miniature version of the Harvard dorm room where the Meta-billionaire created Facebook.
Gates, smiling into the camera, sits on a small red couch while Zuckerberg sits on a small wooden chair.
Another image showed the father of three with his daughters Maxima, 8, and August, 6, as he shows them around the recreation of his childhood room where he learned to code.

“Grateful that people from all over the world traveled to celebrate with me,” Zuckerberg captioned a photo of him sharing a drink with friends at the party
Chan also had a booth at his party that represented her husband’s first apartment, where he said he lived with only a mattress on the floor until Facebook reached 100 million people.
Another photo shows Zuckerberg in a booth that resembles his office during a lockdown “where we worked day and night to face the competition,” Zuckerberg wrote in the caption.
The food at Zuckerberg’s party also brought a wave of nostalgia, as his wife recreated Pinocchio’s Pizzeria, where the tech mogul said he “actually lived in college.”

Many of his friends also made a video to congratulate Zuckerberg, including his good friend Sheryl Sandberg, who used to be Meta’s COO.
