Netflix’s Bridgerton season 3A, the X-Men ’97 finale, and more new TV this week

There’s a lot of TV to work through every week, and this week is no exception – something I’ve definitely said about many full TV weeks, but what are you going to do! Television gives, and gives, and takes, and gives some more.

If you want more recommendations than just new shows, we now have a monthly TV recommendation thread, with the first happening last week. But if you’re looking for something to watch this week, check out the many options below. From the triumphant (only half-season!) return of Bridgerton To the wild conclusion of Apple TV Plus’ strangest show yet, there are plenty of great shows lined up this week.

Bridgerton season 3A

Are Bridgerton season 3 and it’s the ship we all have have been waiting long coming: Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlin) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). But they’re not the only ones experiencing a romantic upheaval; ‘Tis the season, after all.

Blood of Zeus

Genre: Mythological fantasy

Form: Derek Phillips, Mamie Gummer, Jason O’Mara and more

Heron (Derek Phillips) learned some hard truths about his relationship with the demon leader Seraphim (Elias Toufexis) and had an eternal confrontation. (To put it succinctly: twin brother, and killed him.) Now Hades wants Seraphim’s help to escape the underworld forever and overthrow Zeus.

Meanwhile, Heron wonders: if the gods are more flawed than we are… why should we listen to them?

Season finale of X-Men ’97

The stage is set; The stakes are high; the mutants are fighting. At least Magneto believes he was right. While the rest of the X-Men aren’t fully on board, his final blow to Wolverine last week means he might still be able to score a few more points.

Uncle Samsik

Genre: Political drama

Two men try to make 1960s South Korea a better place: Kim San (Byun Yo-han), an idealist who hopes that American prosperity can help the Korean people, and Uncle Samsik (Parasite‘s Song Kang-ho), who works from the shadows as a political fixer and social chameleon. But Kim San begins to wonder: is Samsik the real deal, or is he a corrupt influence leading him down a dark path?

Outreach season 2

Genre: Sci-fi western drama

Royal (Josh Brolin) is having a great time on his ranch, and that’s all before you find yourself in the weird wormhole that has opened up on his property and goes who knows where. Now, in Season 2, at least he’s starting to make a little more sense – although time will tell if it’ll help him with the timely mess he’s left with.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 9

Sheldon Cooper, in season seven of Young Sheldon, looks shocked and surprised.  Sheldon is played by actor Iain Armitage.

Young Sheldonthe Big Bang Theory spin-off about (who else) Sheldon (but young) is coming to an end. The show was a surprise hit, deviating from the more caustic sitcom style of the original to something more heartfelt. How will this show go? yet another spin-off (not about Sheldon at any age)? Must tune in to see.

Black Panther founder Huey P. Newton (André Holland) attempts to escape to Cuba to evade the FBI with a pretty elaborate plan – namely enlisting a famous Hollywood producer to create a fake film production – which of course almost ends half goes wrong. every time.

If you’re thinking, “Hey, that sounds a bit like Argo,” you should probably know: this show is actually based on an article by Joshuah Bearman, who also wrote the article Argo was based on!

Sugar season 1 finale
