Obama gushes about wife Michelle on Mother’s Day and Biden thanks ‘extraordinary mothers everywhere’ – as A-listers post heartfelt tributes to the women in their lives

A-listers, celebrities and politicians have paid their heartfelt tributes to the women and mothers in their lives to celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday.

Former President Barack Obama posted a photo of a radiant Michelle wishing her and all mothers a happy Mother’s Day.

“Michelle, thank you for everything you do for our girls. Today and every day we celebrate you,” Obama said.

‘And thank you to all the mothers and mother figures who offer us love, inspiration and support, often despite remarkable adversity.’

The former First Lady posted a photo with her mother on X to mark the holiday.

“My mother has always been my rock and I am so grateful for the ways she continues to support my family. She has taught me so much over the years, and I feel so fortunate to be able to pass that same wisdom on to my own girls,” said Michelle Obama.

“To all the mothers celebrating today, I hope you know how much you are appreciated.”

President Joe Biden shared several posts on social media honoring the mothers in his life.

‘My mother instilled in us the idea that we could do nothing. “I miss her every day, but especially on Mother’s Day,” Biden said.

“To special mothers everywhere, I hope your day is filled with love and joy.”

Vice President Kamala Harris posted a childhood photo with her mother and sister on the occasion of Mother’s Day.

“My mother, Shyamala Gopalan, had two goals in life: raising her two daughters and ending breast cancer. I am grateful that she raised me to see what could be, without the burden of what has been,” Harris said.

Jeff Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sanchez posted a throwback photo of her three children Nikko, Evan and Ella and thanked them for making her a mother.

Former first daughter and mother of three Ivanka Trump shared several photos of her late mother and brood on her Instagram Story.

California Governor Gavin Newsom posted a photo of his wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom and their four children.

Elon Musk, who has 11 children with three women, posted “Happy Mother’s Day” on X but did not name the mothers of his children.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his running mate Nicole Shanahan posted a video on social media with messages from mothers supporting their campaigns.

‘Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! Today we celebrate all the mothers and mother figures who love, support and inspire us,” Kennedy said.
