Luton fans clashed with the stewards as their side’s Premier League hopes suffered a major blow with defeat to West Ham.
A video shared on social media showed dramatic scenes in the away leg during the closing stages of the match, as some traveling supporters became involved in scuffles with stewards.
The disruption was said to have been caused by stewards attempting to remove at least two fans from the lower level.
Additional stewards rushed to the commotion and were immediately supported by police, who were able to de-escalate the situation while preventing further incidents.
Rob Edwards’ side started the match excellently at the London Stadium, with Albert Sami Lokonga giving them the lead after just six minutes.

But the visitors were dealt a major blow later in the first half when talisman Ross Barkley was forced off injured with a calf problem that could spell the end of his campaign.
After a slow start to proceedings, West Ham responded emphatically after the restart with a James Ward-Prowse draw before Tomas Soucek put the Hammers ahead.
George Earthy then added a third for the hosts, who all but confirmed that the Hatters will be playing Championship football again next season.
Luton’s relegation would have become official if Nottingham Forest had managed to secure a point against Chelsea in the late kick-off on Saturday.
However, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side ultimately fell to a 3-2 defeat, leaving their own battle for survival in the top flight down to the final day.
Luton are only three points behind Forest. A significant difference in the goal difference of the two clubs makes relegation almost inevitable for the club.
Following their defeat, Edwards praised the club’s fans for their support throughout the campaign.
“We didn’t get relegated because of today, it was a highlight of the whole season,” he said.

“I’m an emotional person, when I walked up to our supporters and saw their reaction, I had tears. The love and affection they have given us, which goes both ways and is unique in football today.
‘I feel devastated, I didn’t want to let anyone down and I feel responsible. I thanked the players and staff, they gave me the best eighteen months of my life.’
