Rubies are red

She had to miss Chester earlier this week due to a minor issue, but she is clearly doing well now.

She is a sister to Found, among others, and she ran well to finish second behind Galileo Dame in Leopardstown, although the winner didn’t really announce that form on Wednesday.

But she’s all about potential, and she clearly has that after just two runs, and this race is open to any horse who steps forward. Going into it, there’s certainly nothing that stands out, even though the bet has Danielle as a cheap favorite.

Illinois

We have two here, and Illinois, my horse, is the better form as it stands.

He was placed second in Group 1 and hopefully he can make a big step forward if he finishes third again in the Ballysax, just as Capulet improved significantly from Chelmsford to Chester.

Euphrates actually finished well ahead of him in second place at Leopardstown, so you could perhaps say there is little between the two.

Again, there’s no real standout in the race – although as I said, Illinois’ form at two is the best form on offer here – so hopefully both can do well and put their hands up for Epsom consideration.

Cell Sa Beela

She finished last season with some good efforts by winning a Listed race at Ascot, and that seems to give her a fair chance in this, although the clear form horse Remarquee, who has proven she can do it in Group 1, is clearly the best. one to beat. And you’d think she could take a beating.
