Tom Brady’s ex Bridget Moynahan seen for the first time since NFL star was savaged for dumping her while pregnant during shock comedy Roast

Bridget Moynahan was pictured at a book event on Tuesday, in her first public outing since ex Tom Brady’s shocking Netflix roast.

The actress, 53, was all smiles as she arrived at a discussion for Blue Bloods co-star Tom Selleck’s book, ‘You Never Know: A Memoir’ in New York City.

The mother-of-one – who shares son Jack, 16, with retired athlete Brady – looked chic in a cream silk blouse with leaf patterns, tucked into navy blue trousers.

She seemed to be in good spirits for a day after sharing a cryptic post about “loyal” people following the NFL star’s savage roast.

During Sunday night’s Netflix special “The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady,” the seven-time Super Bowl winner, 46, was mercilessly mocked for his personal life, including jokes about his and then-pregnant girlfriend Bridget’s relationship.

At Tuesday’s event, Bridget also posed with Selleck, 79, who opened up about his Hollywood career in the new book, which is in stores now.

Her co-star looked as handsome as ever in a black suit and tie for the occasion. During the event, the duo were pictured answering questions from the audience.

In November, it was announced that season 14 of their show Blue Bloods will be their last. It will be split into two parts. The final eight episodes – part two of the final season – will air in the fall of 2024.

Blue Bloods became the second-longest running scripted show on CBS, behind NCIS (with 21 seasons).

Tom plays the character Frank Regan, starring Bridget, Donnie Wahlberg, Will Estes, Vanessa Ray, Marisa Ramirez and Len Cariou.

Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10pm ET on CBS.

Bridget’s outing comes a day after she shared a quirky post about “loyal people” on social media, hours after her ex-boyfriend was the subject of a roast on Netflix.

One of the topics of the jokes was the much-discussed rift between Brady and Moynahan.

She reshared a message from retired wrestler Gail Kim-Irvine, which read: “Loyal people take it much more personally because they would never have done that to you.”

Moynahan added, “So true,” in the caption of her post.

One joke during the branding was about Brady’s split from Moynahan, who revealed she was pregnant with his son Jack, following their 2006 divorce.

Comedian Nikki Glaser was the one to lead the jokes about the couple’s divorce: “But seriously, Tom, you’re the best to ever play too long.” You retired, then you came back, then you retired again. I understand, it’s hard to walk away from something that isn’t your pregnant girlfriend, it’s tough.”

“Hey, honestly he didn’t know she was pregnant, he just thought she was getting fat.”

Brady and Moynahan first dated in 2004 before ending their relationship after two years.

When news of Moynahan’s pregnancy broke, Brady had already started dating 43-year-old Gisele Bundchen, whom he eventually married in 2009, before the couple divorced in 2022.

Moynahan and Brady co-parent Jack. The quarterback also has a son, Benjamin, 14, and a daughter, Vivian, 11, with the Brazilian supermodel.

According to PeopleBrady was present for his son’s birth and Moynahan was “very happy” he skipped practice to “be there for the birth and spend a few days with their new child.”

In 2008, Moynahan became vulnerable about her divorce from Brady and becoming a single mother during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

“Going through that traumatic time of heartbreak and then getting pregnant turned my whole life upside down and inside out and just threw me for a loop,” she told the publication. “But I got so much out of it… Now I have a child, and that’s the best thing in the world.”

In 2020, Brady revealed to Howard Stern that he wasn’t planning on having children until his “late 30s” before learning Moynahan was pregnant.

“The next thing you know, I found out Bridget was pregnant with our son,” he recalled. “So that was a very unique time… and it challenged me in a lot of ways to grow up differently.”

He added, “And it was very challenging for my son’s mother, you know, because she didn’t envision that either.”

Bundchen’s relationship with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente was also a popular topic during this roast.

Gisele is said to be “deeply disappointed” and feeling “disrespected” by Brady’s roast show.

In a shocking joke, comedian Nikki Glaser referenced Valente’s fighting skills, saying, “How it would suck for Tom… omg just knowing your ex-wife’s new boyfriend can beat you while eating hers.”

A source said People that Bundchen remained furious about the special, saying she was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday night’s roast show.”

‘As usual, [Bundchen’s] “The priority is to support her children who have been affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcast,” the insider continued.

Nikki’s other statements included: “Tom, the only thing dumber than you saying yes to this piece of meat was when you said, ‘Hey honey, you gotta try jiu-jitsu.’

Nikki added, “You have seven rings… well, eight now that Gisele has given hers back.”

Gisele started training jiu-jitsu in 2021, when she supposedly met Joaquim, her instructor. News of their dating was publicly confirmed in February 2024.
