“As you settle into this sense of contentment that has grown from a seed of trust, planted by the unsteady hand of confusion and watered by the small victories of growth… it feels like a cleansing exhalation. I enjoy it here.’
The holiday comes after the reality star has announced that she is revolving careers And passed her real estate license.
Before starring on RHOC for two seasons, the mother of three worked as a sales representative for a pathology software company.
She got her first taste of reality fame after appearing on the shows Resale Royalty (2013) and Yes to the Dress (2014), where she searched for her wedding dress to marry ex Jim Edmonds.
A year later, she became a cast member of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County from 2015 to 2017.
After a turbulent few years since leaving the show, from her and Edmonds’ bitter divorce to dealing with their son Hart’s health issues, King recently revealed that she has hit the books to become a real estate agent.
“It’s been seventeen years since I swore in a classroom at Ole Miss that I would never go to school again, yet here I am studying for my real estate license in Missouri,” she captioned a selfie of herself in the library. ‘Yes. I said it now, that means I have to pass.”
She continued: ‘Yesterday I studied for 11.5 hours, with the only breaks being dinner and putting my kids to bed – this is not for the faint of heart!’

Her dedication to the books also leaves her “no time for trivial things like posting on Instagram.”
King then asked her more than 946,000 Instagram followers to give her “all the advice” and “referrals.”
On Tuesday, she said all her hard work paid off and she “passed” her real estate exam after taking classes and studying for the past 17 days.
“It was a much tougher journey than I expected, but I worked and studied hard and I made it,” she admitted.
After a turbulent few years that included co-parenting issues with Edmonds and their son Hart being diagnosed with hypotonic cerebral palsy, King revealed she was working hard to become a real estate agent.
In 2022, the artist teased that she was “looking to return to the corporate world” for “teamwork and stability.”
The reality TV star told her fans at the time that she was “nervous” before her job interview, but that it ultimately went “fine.”
The blonde beauty further admitted that the idea of a career change made her anxious, but felt inspired by setting a good example for her children.
‘I’ve been working for myself for years, but I need more. I worry about how my life will change, but I have three kids in school full time and I need to show them that single moms can do anything, while also feeding my soul by working (I love to work) work),” she wrote.
She then asked her followers for some tips: ‘Has anyone made the transition from home to the office? Best practices? Biggest surprise?’
The choice comes after she admitted she felt her annulled marriage to Biden Owens was a “mistake.”
She married 43-year-old Owens, an LA lawyer, in October, but they split in December 2021.
