RFK Jr. gets endorsement from Hollywood star who is facing a slew of new sex allegations

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. received an endorsement Monday from a Hollywood star facing new allegations of sexual misconduct.

Kevin Spacey went to X to cheer on the independent presidential candidate and tout their friendship.

‘I can learn a lot from this man. When the world turned its back on me, Bobby leaned forward,” Spacey said.

“He is a formidable fighter for justice and a loyal friend who is not afraid to stand up for what he believes,” the former House of Cards actor added.

Spacey’s nod to RFK Jr. comes as the actor pushes back on allegations made by 10 men in the upcoming Channel 4 documentary, Spacey Unmasked, which debuts in Britain on Monday and Tuesday.

On Monday, Spacey praised RFK Jr. and called him a “loyal friend” who “leaned in” when he was accused of sexual misconduct by a number of men. Spacey shared a 30-minute biographical video of Kennedy narrated by Woody Harrelson

Actor Ruari Cannon, who appears in the documentary, narrates The i-newspaper that Spacey touched him in a “very intimate way” during a press night for a theater production at the Old Vic in 2013.

Spacey called the accusation “ridiculous” and denied it happened.

The actor also insisted that he has never offered anyone career help in exchange for sex.

“I take full responsibility for my past behavior and actions,” Spacey told journalist Dan Wootton. “But I cannot and will not take responsibility or apologize to anyone who has made things up about me or created exaggerated stories about me.”

The House of Cards star was previously acquitted of a number of sex crimes committed by four men in Britain between 2001 and 2013.

Additionally, Spacey scored a legal victory in a civil lawsuit filed by Anthony Rapp, who accused Spacey of making sexual advances against the Rent actor when he was 14 in 1986.

A jury ruled in 2022 that Spacey had not abused Rapp and was not liable.

None of the men featured in the documentary were part of the British trial and nine out of ten have never spoken out before.

On Monday, ahead of the new documentary’s release, Spacey shared another X-post from RFK Jr. highlighting a new video about the independent candidate, narrated by actor Woody Harrelson and funded by a Kennedy-focused PAC.

The Kennedy campaign did not immediately return DailyMail.com’s request for comment on Spacey’s endorsement.

Furthermore, Spacey isn’t the only problematic celebrity in RFK Jr.’s orbit.

Next week, Russell Brand will headline a comedy event for the campaign in Nashville, Tennessee.

Brand has been accused by women of sexual assault and inappropriate workplace behavior from 2006 to 2013, when he was at the height of his fame.

Entourage actor Jeremy Piven, who was accused of sexual assault, harassment and misconduct by eight women in 2017 and 2018, was a surprise guest at a similar event for the Kennedy campaign in Los Angeles in February.
